I had a weird dream Bayonetta had Hercules Beetle demon but it’s horns were arranged as a guillotine I love all the demons. Except Gomorrah all my homies hate Gomorrah and Labolas gets all the pats.
Interesting that Alraune's design has her eyes obscured by a headpiece and this also applies with her masquarade form implying she may have been blind in life. It's strange that Alraune story is slightly retconned in Bayo 3 where she paralysis her victims to be part of her endless collection while the original story is even darker in Bayo 2, where she searches for souls in inferno to be her implied sex slaves which sort of fits with her backstory, since she was unloved and abandoned in life she now enslaves others into loving her as a demon.
I really wish that we got to see Diomedes Return in Bayo 3 I love the whole lore implications that it despises being used as a horse but obeys those it considers worthy Also I don’t know about anyone else but in Bayo 3’s ending it would’ve been so sweet to see Gomorrah be sad for Bayo instead of well… Pulling its usual antics to put it lightly-
Affinity basic weapons keep the sun motif by having a circular end to their weapons. Meanwhile, basic Hideous units have a scythe to reflect a crescent moon. I like how that implies Angels and Demons equal and opposite to eachother
I wanna see way more of Inferno someday. If I recall correctly, what we’ve seen of it in Bayo 2 was going crazy due to Alraune’s madness and Aesir’s shenanigans, so maybe there are regions of inferno far more civilized. Well, as civilized as a land of darkness can be compared to the machine-like peace of Paradiso.

WIth the Right Eye of Light dead, the balance of power tipped to Inferno causing some demons to basically run amok and disavow their contract with the witches. Loptr/Aesir just took advantage of the imbalance to steal the eyes back and assume control over Human World/Chaos World. A lot of general accounts in the lore is Inferno is always crazy anyway. But yeah I wish we got to see more too, I feel we only got a small piece of it since we never left the Johnson Forest. I don't believe Alraune affected anything she's just always been like this haha.

You missed information on Carnage. Apparently, the group of dragonfly demons was inspired by a verse from the Book of Revelation, where the swarm of locusts that cause mass pandemics by one of the seals sent by the angels, were to have "human heads, with multiple eyes, and horse legs".
Honestly I tried looking for inspiration for Carnage but I've never heard of this, maybe it's in a video. I'd appreciate if you could show me where you seen it? I'm sure there's other stuff I could have missed.
With Cereza and the lost demon coming out soon, I was interested in bayonettas origin story.. but now 👀 I wouldn't mind a spinoff with Robin's origin story. Or even something like "lion king 1/2" Where we see bayo doing her thing in the background, but we play as Robin and see what he's been up to during the stories of bayo 1, 2, and 3

I feel like Gomorrah is getting undeserved hate lol. In the second book we learn hell is also doing its own plotting like the angels. And this Gomorrah being a demon from the inferno with the inferno having its own agenda and making it seem like demons can break contracts at will (or by command from whatever was doing the plotting in the inferno) and bam labeled bad dragon Godzilla. On the second instance Gomorrah killed bayo because the contract was null and void when her witch locket broke. Those amulets are what keeps their contracts and ties to the inferno in place. Also allows them to live on for ages and ages. If the locket is broken or contract not met or a more powerful presence causes them to break it and or enemy to rage out of control I don't see why mutated Godzilla Gomorrah is getting bad wrap. He just wanted a snack. Lol I've seen people make a claim madame butterfly could and would never do what Gomorrah did. If the conditions are met. Hate to tell them but miss madame would indeed act like Gomorrah. Even if their bond extended beyond contract. Don't get me wrong she would probably most likely cherish bayos soul and keep it with her in the inferno. However I don't think their sorta friendship would stop her from raging or taking her soul after the contract has ended.
The reason why Demons of Inferno from this Game only pronounce by difference Titles, might be becuase they are representtations of Human's Sins and Negative Emotions just like their Names. These Demons are a Black & Crimson Brimstone Beings that slaughter and fight to survive, with the lesser Demon become the subordinate of the Greater demon. The Demons who are soummoned by Umbra Witches has names for themself, refering that they are the stronger amongs their Kind. Also, it seems they follow Ars Goetia Hierarchy.
In devil may cry 4, there was boss fight where nero had to fight a big frog demon named Bael. I’m not sure if Baal took any inspiration or if it’s just a coincidence
Spoilers for the madama butterfly opera ig lol I personally hc that Alraune is the second wife that the dude (whose name I forgot lol) who married Madama butterfly left for. After Madama Butterfly arrived in Inferno, he left alraune out of guilt. Which led her to poison herself and arrive in Inferno and acquire """""lovers"""" due to being abandoned by her husband. I just think it adds depth to their dynamic more.
I think you missed something with Alraune's backstory. She has some unknown hatred for Madama Butterfly. The story of Madama Butterfly's name is that it comes from an opera of the same name. The story of the play lines up almost exactly with Alraune's backstory. In the play, a Japanese woman marries an American soldier. When he has to return home, she makes him promise to return to her one day. Years after, he finally returns, only for her to discover that he has married an American woman. She feels so betrayed by this that she unalives herself, and some interpretations describe this as her going mad. My theory is that the reason she hates Madama Butterfly so much is that Madama Butterfly is the woman her husband cheated on her with. Perhaps Madama Butterfly seduced him while concealing her form, or as a human she was merely the unknowing woman who he married and coincidentally ended up also becoming a demon.
I talked about Madama Butterfly's story in my other Infernal Demons video. The opera of Madama Butterfly has the American man marry Butterfly first, and then marry the American woman. So if anything Butterfly was the betrayed one not Alraune, assuming we are claiming Alraune is the American wife. The American wife was never betrayed or abandoned and she knew about Butterfly and agreed to raise the child of Butterfly and the American soldier. The abandoned wife can't be both Butterfly and Alraune. If this was their intention, they didn't do it very well but I don't believe this is meant to be this way anyway.

Sheba's name for example has barely if anything at all to do with her biblical depiction. Many names in Bayonetta are just that: Trophies that vaguely reference some aspect of them. We shouldn't expect Madama Butterfly's name to line up precisely with a play the same way we shouldn't expect all the enemies' names to line up with their names. Mismatches in names, and strange discrepancies in the lore are the norm in Bayonetta, probably because most of the designs were created before the lore or story was even thought of. You are expecting incredibly well written and water tight lore when Bayonetta 1's story is muddy at best because the game was quite literally rushed to completion, and all the other games had to work off of that, which is when we get retcons.

I only said what I said because you cited the opera of Madama Butterfly where the only person who was betrayed was Butterfly. While a fun theory, it does not make sense (personally) when really reading into both the descriptions and the original inspirations (even if we treat them vaguely). I have mentioned briefly (admittedly one sentence) in my video looking at Bayonetta's weapons in the second game that she has a personal hatred towards Madama Butterfly. But Bayonetta 2 and 3 never mention why Alraune hates her so I didn't mention it again here.
well they are pretty simple, Baal Zebul is basically just Baals true form and full name, Sin Gomorrah represents why Gomorrah was destroyed in the first place because of how sinful the people there were and Queen Butterfly is just to give Butterfly a higher rank than Madamma
