I love the Starion content! From a technical standpoint, that brake kit is a very expensive "mod" that really doesn't do anything unfortunately. One of the most misunderstood parts on a car. Drilled and slotted rotors are actually counterproductive on 99% of cars, too. Larger calipers don't offer much utility on 99% of cars either. Please don't take this as being disrespectful. I just think big brake kits are very much misunderstood. Can't wait to see more of this build!
Steer clear of revolution brake. For five months they had a different story every conversation as to why my kit was delayed, then they stopped accepting my calls. I filed a paypal dispute with the hope of getting my brake kit, but they never even responded to paypal.
One complaint I have about some bbks is that the pad doesn't scrub the entire rotor face. So you eventually get a ring of rust there. Curious how these will work out for you. Thanks for sharing
I don’t believe the 16x7 stock rims can be used. I think the caliper would rub on the inside of the stock rim. We are using an 18” rim which gives it enough of a gap. You could possibly run a 17”.

I have never had a stock rim in hand to verify. If it is 17” or larger, it should be fine. Revolution Brakes LLC can be found online and on Facebook. I haven’t coordinated with them much so I can’t speak to them outside of the product, which so far is great.
How did you get a brake kit from them? I ordered Nov 1, they never shipped, different story every call and Kevin stopped taking my calls and answering emails.

what about the rear calipers?
Does that kit come with that wildwood master cylinder? It's not on the website as part of the kit
It does not, have a master cylinder they recommended but it will not fit. I cleaned up the old unit and have that in place currently.

what about the rear calipers? do the fronts fit with the stock wheels?
Rears are stock rebuilt units. The front brakes are too large for stock wheels (16” and smaller)

Yep, that’s what the customer wanted out on so that’s what we did. Revolution brakes also make rear calipers but they were on back order at the time.

The kit was bought over a year ago. I haven’t had to coordinate with the business so not sure what’s going on there, sorry to hear that!

I started a paypal dispute and they never responded to it. I would caution anyone from doing business with them. Luckily RAPauto got their brake kit.
