The amount of views on these is criminal, I used to live in the PNW and I love seeing these videos. So much knowledge in such a dense format, and your craftsmanship is amazing
Hi guys! You are sooo informatic! I like your passion&commitment for ancient techniques ( = barehand survival). Thank you so much for your high quality content, please never quit..! Best regards from the other side of the globe! Ole
Nicely done! After all the work to make those spear heads I bet it just makes you sick to break one. Maybe there were more and larger fish back in the day that would allow for this method to be more effective?
We had a Hawaiian Sling style rubber hose on the end. We’ve been able to make contact before underwater just pushing the spear but still yet to pull one out.
Wow. Nicely done.

We appreciate that. Thanks for the great compliment.
Great job, Grandpa!

Good eating, too!

That was me! Haha, I don't trust him at the river anymore
Do you guys go to gatherings such as Echoes In Time, Between The Rivers, or Rabbitstick? Perhaps we’ve met?
We’ve received invitations for Rabbitstick through the years but have not yet attended. I’ve heard they are pretty memorable experiences.
What book is at 2:08? I see the books listed but not sure which one this is in. Thank you.
Hey Nik they replied to a person on here about the book. But I do want to thank these guys for the hard work they are putting out
The book is called:
ARTIFACTS OF THE NOTHWEST COAST INDIANS by Hilary Stewart
Great video! What did you use to propel the harpoon? Did you just push it or did you have some kind of rubber?
We had a Hawaiian Sling style rubber hose on the end. We’ve been able to make contact before underwater just pushing the spear but still yet to pull one out.
Can you tell me what was the book you were getting the design from? (It shows a quick shot of some pages) thank you, sincerely Frank
