For the last 7 months, I'm driving in and out of warzones in Ukraine delivering Humanitarian Aid too very Hungry & desperate Civilians. The cruelty of War and all things I'm seeing defiantly don't let me go for the rest of my Life! Yes you are right I have been living with MS for over twenty years and one of the things that was said to me at the beginning of this journey is don’t mourn or dwell on what you are no longer able to do but be grateful for what you still can do. Like knit, I am also knitting a pair of warm wool socks. You will have to show us your socks when they are done.

Isabelle spoke:" I started going back to the river again, because doing daily hard things helps you get around difficulties that may arise in ur life". I had just been to take a cold seabath. I realized it was not hard at all for me. But there was this huge problem this week that no solution was found for. But instantly when I thought" this was easy for me , such cold water", I found the solution to end my sorrows. In fact the solution was there, right before my eyes, but I had forgotten about it. Sometimes one takes that path of complaining, whitout reason, just because we are used to " suffering" and being "dissatisfied". Count your blessings ev'ry day. Isabelle was mine today. :)
She inspired me to try cold sea swims as well, I've been going to the shore every day the last week for a swim and to enjoy the autumn sun, all of it really makes me feel more grounded and mindful. I feel as if I've discovered a whole new dimension of life lol 😄
This literally looked like heaven! Where you live is amazingly stunning, the home you have, the hobbies/passions/pastimes you spend your time on and the cinematography as well as the music used. Just absolutely soul enhancing to watch! And you're right! Doing hard things does make it easier to deal with hard things in life!

Isabel you have no idea how much I look forward to watching your videos the longer the better I seriously make it like an event. I draw a warm bath in the morning and I like candles and I get a huge bottle of water to hydrate myself, I add Epson salt to the bath, and even if it’s for just a little while I feel like I’m right there with you in your journey. You have no idea how much calm your brain to everyone weekly. I started thinking what would I do if I didn’t have your videos to turn to when I’m feeling down I watch them over and over again it’s like wearing a warm blanket! I thank you so much for sharing your life. My husband died 2 years ago and I lived on the river. I had two and a half acres to take care of by myself. my daughter was always at work so I decided to down size. I'm glad I did. I still have not met anybody and I work a lot and my daughter finally met a nice guy. You just reminded me of the important things in life and sometimes it's hart at 54 and alone. you are an inspiration to all of us ladies and I just wanted to Thank You for all what you do. You touch so many of our lives and don't know it. You are a Blessing!
I'm am so sorry for your loss first of all. I am 53 and divorced but have two amazing and beautiful daughters. The last 12 years have been so hard and now i have to take care of my elderly mother. I'm not complaining but it's hard not to be able to do the things i used to. Luckily my girls are here often and have an incredible time. I guess what I'm saying is take nothing for granted. Did i ever when i young and stupid. I wish you much happiness and the best of luck in life. Thank you for sharing your story..😊
I had a little over an acre which is not huge but it's enough. You are doing good to be working and also working at home requirements. Don't worry bout finding someone because I bet you had a relationship all you life. My Mom (RIP) told me the last few years of her life when she was alone she was happy, not totally without a care it was still hard but she seen that by knowing you can live happy alone you overcome the fear of need and you find yourself. But you do you this is just my opinion and I am not always right. But hope you are well and safe and all my regards.

Makes me realise how sometimes I myself get caught up in the narratives of "others have it easier than me"; not all of the time, don't get me wrong. But that very act of complaining, of choosing to complain and disregarding what I have, and the abundance, the richness and the Life that is not only available to me but that calls out my name to Be with it, as we both exist in this world... Wow. After having spent the last weekend in a French Alpine cabin, seeing the thinness of the veil be uncovered to a whole new dimension... I realised that I want to be somewhere where all elements collide and beckon us to live once more in harmony with their abundant nature. I want to be somewhere that does not use nature as a commodity; somewhere where I can recognise luxury and wealth exist in the richness of the fields, the tenderness of the wind, the harshness of the towering mountains and the incessant flow of the rivers and stream. I want to be somewhere wherein I, my fragile and open Spirit, are living IN nature and not in a constructed reality where nature is living amongst us. Thank you for this 16 minutes of peace and beauty, of heart-opening warmth. I have followed this channel a couple years . She is such a sweet fun trip. Bel, is also very intelligent. And Im sure very healthy , with all the teas / fruits/ vegetables. And her knowledge of roots and herbs is right up there with our Sasquatch peoples. I have seen them heal some bad bullet wounds and being hit by a car, even scars from fighting with other tribes.

I appreciate your thoroughness it’s very inspiring. I agree I want to trade my morning feedings for evening ones but once I’m outside I’m fine. I love to see the bunnies, sheep, horses, goats when they want attention and are making their noises cause they want to eat.

Isabel, you don't have to go outside to pee in the dirt at nights. There is a potty you can use indoors, then empty in the morning. This is how we did it growing up in the country side. Far more comfortable than worrying about an animal biting your butt!!👌☺️

Hi Isabel....I have just watched two of your videos, this one and "Why I live a simple life"...I'm so envious, I see you enjoying your life with so little stress, I have been following Hannah Duggan another incredibly beautiful woman who like you has taken on living away from the main stream, looking for the serenity and finding peace of mind in the surroundings of the countryside the freshness of the air the starry skies above and the silence. I would love to live that life and enjoy peace of mind before my time has come....but I have lived in a City for all my 63 years, I am on my own but still at work, I hope to retire by or at 67 only then will I find some sense of peace...I can only dream of the life you have my dear...all the best for life,....Clint - Melbourne, Australia....
I love your videos, they are always so beautiful. Just a little tip on when you warp your loom, when you wind on to the back beam, if you use thick craft paper to separate the layers of warp, it will help with your tension. Also when you tie in to the front beam, try to do it small bunches so that you can really tighten all your threads (you’ll have more control). Reach out if you have any questions. I studied textiles and make textile art as my profession. I also teach weaving on various types of looms including the rigid heddle loom. ❤

Just FYI, should you find yourself doing another blanket like this, you may want to consider using a Figure 8 Stich to join the two panels. That way the seam would be less likely to be notices. Just start either on the top or bottom of one side, bring the needles to the other side and once again match, either top or bottom, and go the entire length. As you get closer to the end of the run you can tug the line a bit to pull the two halves closer or tighter together. The figure 8 stich will keep the two panels in line and you won't have a seem down the middle at all. If you pull too tight it will bunch up the run and you're see that, just make sure to adjust as necessary to ensure tightness without bunching up. I repair all my garments this way and if I need to add a patch it stays as flush as possible without causing any skin irritations or lumps. Great video as always....

Life is short and it’s ok to want things that make your life easier too. Making your life easier is about giving yourself the gift of peace of mind. Having to want a toilet to use in the warm when it’s cold outside is ok to if you want these thing you deserve to have them because life is too short! I love your content so much and sometimes I feel like you talk yourself out of things for the sake of gratitude but you deserve to show yourself gratitude and love by giving yourself the things that would make your life easier. Isabel, when I was a young man about 20 years old I lived in a small town in central Illinois. Pekin, Il. to be exact. In the winter when we'd have a snow storm, in the evening, after folks had gotten home from their jobs, the streets would be so quiet, and the falling snow muffled most ambient sound. It was my favorite time to take a walk. I'd have gotten home from my job, and had dinner, and I was living with family, so just to collect my inner serenity, I'd bundle up and go for a walk after about 7:00pm. It was so very peaceful, and walking, while taking in the cool air, and hearing my own rhythmic breathing, my mind wandered and my thoughts became joyous and enlightened and nothing could have phased me at that point. The beauty of Mother Natures pure white snowfall, the softness of the snowflakes caressing my face like gentle fingertips, and the knowledge that this solitude was God's gift to me. I think that only one who enjoys the natural world around them, void of complication, can really find spiritual happiness. Thanks so much for your videos, and your thoughts, these bring back my younger years, and those gut feelings of peaceful tranquility. Greg

I'm a Grandma and I love it also. 😊 Isabel, you are so right when saying, making something by hand and gifting it is special. I love gifts that are handmade, it really warms my heart.
Isabelle spoke:" I started going back to the river again, because doing daily hard things helps you get around difficulties that may arise in ur life". I had just been to take a cold seabath. I realized it was not hard at all for me. But there was this huge problem this week that no solution was found for. But instantly when I thought" this was easy for me , such cold water", I found the solution to end my sorrows. In fact the solution was there, right before my eyes, but I had forgotten about it. Sometimes one takes that path of complaining, whitout reason, just because we are used to " suffering" and being "dissatisfied".

She inspired me to try cold sea swims as well, I've been going to the shore every day the last week for a swim and to enjoy the autumn sun, all of it really makes me feel more grounded and mindful. I feel as if I've discovered a whole new dimension of life lol 😄

Isabel you have no idea how much I look forward to watching your videos the longer the better I seriously make it like an event. I draw a warm bath in the morning and I like candles and I get a huge bottle of water to hydrate myself, I add Epson salt to the bath, and even if it’s for just a little while I feel like I’m right there with you in your journey. You have no idea how much calm your brain to everyone weekly. I started thinking what would I do if I didn’t have your videos to turn to when I’m feeling down I watch them over and over again it’s like wearing a warm blanket! I thank you so much for sharing your life. My husband died 2 years ago and I lived on the river. I had two and a half acres to take care of by myself. my daughter was always at work so I decided to down size. I'm glad I did. I still have not met anybody and I work a lot and my daughter finally met a nice guy. You just reminded me of the important things in life and sometimes it's hart at 54 and alone. you are an inspiration to all of us ladies and I just wanted to Thank You for all what you do. I'm am so sorry for your loss first of all. I am 53 and divorced but have two amazing and beautiful daughters. The last 12 years have been so hard and now i have to take care of my elderly mother. I'm not complaining but it's hard not to be able to do the things i used to. Luckily my girls are here often and have an incredible time. I guess what I'm saying is take nothing for granted. Makes me realise how sometimes I myself get caught up in the narratives of "others have it easier than me"; not all of the time, don't get me wrong. But that very act of complaining, of choosing to complain and disregarding what I have, and the abundance, the richness and the Life that is not only available to me but that calls out my name to Be with it, as we both exist in this world... Wow. After having spent the last weekend in a French Alpine cabin, seeing the thinness of the veil be uncovered to a whole new dimension... I realised that I want to be somewhere where all elements collide and beckon us to live once more in harmony with their abundant nature. I want to be somewhere that does not use nature as a commodity; somewhere where I can recognise luxury and wealth exist in the richness of the fields, the tenderness of the wind, the harshness of the towering mountains and the incessant flow of the rivers and stream. I want to be somewhere wherein I, my fragile and open Spirit, are living IN nature and not in a constructed reality where nature is living amongst us. Thank you for this 16 minutes of peace and beauty, of heart-opening warmth. I have followed this channel a couple years . She is such a sweet fun trip. Bel, is also very intelligent. And Im sure very healthy , with all the teas / fruits/ vegetables. And her knowledge of roots and herbs is right up there with our Sasquatch peoples. I have seen them heal some bad bullet wounds and being hit by a car, even scars from fighting with other tribes.

Isabel, you don't have to go outside to pee in the dirt at nights. There is a potty you can use indoors, then empty in the morning. This is how we did it growing up in the country side. Far more comfortable than worrying about an animal biting your butt!!👌☺️

Hi Isabel....I have just watched two of your videos, this one and "Why I live a simple life"...I'm so envious, I see you enjoying your life with so little stress, I have been following Hannah Duggan another incredibly beautiful woman who like you has taken on living away from the main stream, looking for the serenity and finding peace of mind in the surroundings of the countryside the freshness of the air the starry skies above and the silence. I would love to live that life and enjoy peace of mind before my time has come....but I have lived in a City for all my 63 years, I am on my own but still at work, I hope to retire by or at 67 only then will I find some sense of peace...I can only dream of the life you have my dear...all the best for life,....Clint - Melbourne, Australia....

I love your videos, they are always so beautiful.
Just a little tip on when you warp your loom, when you wind on to the back beam, if you use thick craft paper to separate the layers of warp, it will help with your tension. Also when you tie in to the front beam, try to do it small bunches so that you can really tighten all your threads (you’ll have more control). Reach out if you have any questions. I studied textiles and make textile art as my profession. I also teach weaving on various types of looms including the rigid heddle loom. ❤

Just FYI, should you find yourself doing another blanket like this, you may want to consider using a Figure 8 Stich to join the two panels. That way the seam would be less likely to be notices. Just start either on the top or bottom of one side, bring the needles to the other side and once again match, either top or bottom, and go the entire length. As you get closer to the end of the run you can tug the line a bit to pull the two halves closer or tighter together. The figure 8 stich will keep the two panels in line and you won't have a seem down the middle at all. If you pull too tight it will bunch up the run and you're see that, just make sure to adjust as necessary to ensure tightness without bunching up. I repair all my garments this way and if I need to add a patch it stays as flush as possible without causing any skin irritations or lumps. Great video as always....

Isabel, when I was a young man about 20 years old I lived in a small town in central Illinois. Pekin, Il. to be exact. In the winter when we'd have a snow storm, in the evening, after folks had gotten home from their jobs, the streets would be so quiet, and the falling snow muffled most ambient sound. It was my favorite time to take a walk. I'd have gotten home from my job, and had dinner, and I was living with family, so just to collect my inner serenity, I'd bundle up and go for a walk after about 7:00pm. It was so very peaceful, and walking, while taking in the cool air, and hearing my own rhythmic breathing, my mind wandered and my thoughts became joyous and enlightened and nothing could have phased me at that point. The beauty of Mother Natures pure white snowfall, the softness of the snowflakes caressing my face like gentle fingertips, and the knowledge that this solitude was God's gift to me.
I think that only one who enjoys the natural world around them, void of complication, can really find spiritual happiness.
