Hi mam! I have a question, is pursuing MBA online worth it? I'm currently employed and it won't be feasible for me to pursue MBA full time. Please help me I don't know where to get guidance regarding this.
Thanks a ton for the assistance ma'am!! Would like to know what else i hv to do alongside my prep journey to maintain the gap(I've completed my college this june) of 6-7 months!! Keep Guiding!❤
Hey, glad I could help! ❤️ In some time, will share a video on profile building as well, so stay tuned and turn on your notifications so that you don't miss out! All the very best for your prep! :))
Di as my academics is not that good and also I have a engineering background, and now I am in my last year and the placements are going to start and I am preparing for CAT so I should prepare dedicatedly on cat or placements too .
Hey, in my opinion you should try to prepare for both. But evaluate your situation - how much time will you have to commit for CAT and for placements? And the placement scenario in your college would also play a role!
@@mbawithprachi as my branch is electronics and I am not really interested in core so I have choosen to seat in software companies but I have not prepared much . I only have a internship done in software company that to through refferal. But I am not satisfied with that because as their I am not getting things because I have not practice coding before so I was thinking to completely go for CAT . And for time now my 7 sem is going to start so their must be 4-5 hrs college and rest whole day will be free to prepare. So in this case what should I do . And if we say about placement scenario so it is not good like we can only expect min of 4-5 lpa .for our branch.
Hey, you can divide your time efficiently. Put in say 75% efforts in preparing for CAT and rest 25% for placements - if you feel so. I believe only the coding aspect would be different - apart from that puzzles and all will help you in CAT as well. So there is an overlap between the two.
So happy that my videos were able to help you!! ☺️ I will surely make a comprehensive video on resume building so stay tuned and do turn on the notifications so that you don't miss out! 😁
Does 6 years of gap after graduation matters at the time of admission? I have gap because of UPSC preparation. Please reply I am really feeling under confident because of gap years. Should I continue to prepare for CAT exam? I really want to give my best at CAT 2024 exam. Please help!
Hey, sometimes people do have gaps in their career because of NEET or UPSC. But as long as you can build a coherent story as to why you chose MBA and what do you want to do in future - it won't affect your chances in admission. So don't worry about it too much and prepare well :)
Hey, it would depend on your goals and priorities along with your current profile. SSC CGL gives you job stability and better work-life balance but then you get limited growth. At the same time, MBA gives you a better career growth and higher salary but the work can be demanding + the cost of the program.
Mam, what can be the right age for riding MBA journey ?? Is there any age criteria for companies coming to recruit you at IIMs or other top management colleges as a thought always struck in the mind whether we are late for the party ??
Hey, there's no right age for the CAT exam! I had batchmates join IIM C even in their 30s. Most companies focus on your skills and experience during interviews, not your age. But if age is a concern, you can consider an Executive MBA program as well - it's a great alternative!
hi Prachi can you help me simple doubt of mine, if any question in mocks , i m unable to solve after seeing the solution ,, what should i do ?? totally toughest problem.,
Hey, try to revisit the concept/ chapter and then come back again to see if you are able to understand the solution now. Concept clarity is a must before you start doing difficult problems.
Mam I am now 12th passed student taking admission to btech I scored 92% in 10th and 82% in 12th how should I prepare for iim ahemdabad from 1st year itself 🙏🙏🙏pls guide me🙏
di isn't TAS overrated?? I checked their way of recruitment and found it too much time-consuming+ time wastage(my opinion😅)..how can the students from IIMS find this TAS so interesting?? its starting package is also somewhere near 28 lpa and their gamification assessment wont be easy either( I believe) so why so much hyped?? top 10-15 b-schools already have good students still they are keeping such lengthy and difficult processes why????? isn't it better to sit for other companies which I believe are offering better packages with less recruitment stages??
Hey, while the pay might be slightly lower at TAS, Tata group is known for its culture. And once you get placed, you have the flexibility to move across different departments after your initial stint. So the work-life balance and culture, makes TAS a dream option for those aiming for a career in General Management!
@@mbawithprachi di did you think for once like trying for TAS? 😅😅 even though I aint in a position to ask you this..but still😅😅 forgive me for such a question..
Honestly, I really wanted to. But I mostly consulting roles open a day before General Management roles - so I knew I would most likely land a consulting role given my profile.
First up, finance and consulting are different. I mostly had strategy and marketing subjects but had previous work-ex in data analytics cum consulting firm - so it was very likely that I would get selected for the role.
Hello prachi ma'am I am having a huge dilemma regarding college and Preparation.. I have scored 79 percentile as a Bsc Agriculture fresher and just for these 79 percentile i Have worked hard quite a lot with profile 8/6/8 under EWS section And now I have received calls from css Niam Jaipur, for ABM and high chance it will get converted.. So here now again I started my preparation for cat 24, but it hasn't been started in a full fledged way and it's getting a little tough...to come in flow So should I go for college or for my last attempt.. Also I had 4 drop yrs for neet preparation and an accident Please give me some idea what to do... Also I had cap calls but waitlisted for 5 baby IIMs at about 500 or so... Bat ye hn ki acche jagah se padhne ke bad apke career ko ek bahut accha platform milta hn that college is just okay to avoid gap year avg plac of 11 but mean while ye v hn ki when I came so close then why not a last leap....
Heyy, if you don't have any financial responsibilities as of now and if you are confident that you can convert a top tier college in the next chance - then you can think about taking CAT 2024. Down the line after 10-15 years, this 1 year might not look significant but your college name would always remain with you so choose wisely! All the best! :)
