The SD9ve trigger is crap. They point very well in my experience. Apex makes a decent spring kit. They make the SD a good pistol. Out of several SDs, I put these in. One didn't like the lighter striker spring. (occasional light primer strikes) It required the factory spring to be shortened.

Mike, I think I’ve been watching you from the start, and I just have one question from those of us who like to read when you can find a good book these days (unfortunately, most are going to be self-published these days): when are you going to start writing books?
That is a GREAT statement actually. If it means you have more than 2 or 3 firearms total. And you can just concentrate on buying ammo to run them. So I hope you are in that category.
I am also in this camp. The main thing I’m worried about is making sure I can leave some stuff to my kids someday, so thinking about stuff like uppers or spare parts + logistics to keep the existing stock running for generations.
The only thing I’d add to this list is a 308 battle rifle. Like and AR10, M1A, FAL clone, G3 clone, SCAR 17, Galeil (probably spelled wrong). There’s other options too but those are what comes to mind.
Top priority for home defense: reliability. With defensive rounds. Hopefully never necessary. If you were ever a boy scout: Be Prepared. Direct blowback PCC, reliable and accurate. Mike covered a very good option here.
G48 or 43X with 15 rd Shield Arms mag or G19X with +2 mag extension and 33 rd mags, HK VP9, or Sig Beretta 1301, Benelli M4 or Turkenelli 12 ga., AR with a CHF barrel and Fail Zero, POF or other top brand BCG, Timney, POF, GEISELLE or other top brand trigger, Zastava AK or other high level AK., A.308 in semi or bolt with high quality optic and a .30 cal suppressor you can also put on your AR and AK. Minimum 1000 rds of ammo for each cal.
Agreed on something for everyone in your household and often overlooked. Soft, steel ceramic or UHMWPE. What ever you can get. There are certainly some affordable options out there. And well then there's stuff where you can go right off on!
Great advice, this past year I've grown the types of weapons and suppressors I have in my collection. Don't go panic buying, just look over your inventory and prioritize where there is a deficiency. Now comes the work of training for me. Stay safe my friends.
Several times you say "prohibited from ownership" Please note that such prohibitions would only apply to 'normal' folks. Her buddies will be able to get anything they want.

Great video Mike. Love you a ton my fellow Patriot 🇺🇸
Definitely don’t get a tacticool Ak. Get a good old wood furniture zastava.
Not a fan of Bubba AKs either.....leave them all stock!
Mike, I think I’ve been watching you from the start, and I just have one question from those of us who like to read when you can find a good book these days (unfortunately, most are going to be self-published these days): when are you going to start writing books?
I have all that I need. Yes I said that.
Did your wife hack your youtube? 😂
@ROOSTER-ql5fs 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s not about needs 😉
That is a GREAT statement actually. If it means you have more than 2 or 3 firearms total. And you can just concentrate on buying ammo to run them. So I hope you are in that category.
I am also in this camp. The main thing I’m worried about is making sure I can leave some stuff to my kids someday, so thinking about stuff like uppers or spare parts + logistics to keep the existing stock running for generations.
Another good video brother. Thank you.
You're welcome 👍🏽
Great video 👍 Be careful when getting into AKM's you may end up with a big collection if you go down that rabbit hole.
Glock 19 is compact. Even the Extended grip model.
Glock 17 is full sized.
The only thing I’d add to this list is a 308 battle rifle. Like and AR10, M1A, FAL clone, G3 clone, SCAR 17, Galeil (probably spelled wrong). There’s other options too but those are what comes to mind.
fair
The ruger SFAR 308 has got my attention, but winter is coming up so new tires will probably be the priority in about a month.
If on a budget make sure you have several spare magazines for any pistol that you count on.
Top priority for home defense: reliability. With defensive rounds.
Hopefully never necessary. If you were ever a boy scout: Be Prepared.
Direct blowback PCC, reliable and accurate. Mike covered a very good option here.
Excellent video!!
Who else watched to make sure their checklist is complete?
I would add body admor to that list of things you should buy now before they get banned.
Duly noted
Agreed on something for everyone in your household and often overlooked. Soft, steel ceramic or UHMWPE. What ever you can get. There are certainly some affordable options out there. And well then there's stuff where you can go right off on!
Great advice, this past year I've grown the types of weapons and suppressors I have in my collection. Don't go panic buying, just look over your inventory and prioritize where there is a deficiency. Now comes the work of training for me. Stay safe my friends.
its 2024, if you're not freshly 18 and you haven't bought guns after everything that's already happened just don't.
What's the light on your AR there?
Several times you say "prohibited from ownership"
Please note that such prohibitions would only apply to 'normal' folks.
Her buddies will be able to get anything they want.
Indeed
Always great info from your channel, it does seem prices are high right now, tried to bring a friend gun shopping over the weekend for just this reason, walked out empty handed lol, told him even a cheap $280 gun is better than nothing.
Shadow system aka Glock clones are being added to CA roster in November. Hopefully on sale by December.
MR920P come to me!!!
Fyi we crappy people in CA can't get 4/5 Gen Glocks, unless we buy on grey market.
All I need to do is get
I have a Springfield Armory Hellcat for my conceal carry and the original Springfield Armory Saint for my AR-15 & a Smith & Wesson M&P9 full size with the 4.25 barrel with the 17+1 capacity for my full size 9mm.
nice
When it comes to the ATF improved wait times, isn't it just another ploy for them to build/confirm firearm ownership info(registration list)?
You got it
Ohhhh it's a conspiracy to take our guns LMAO. Y'all will do anything other than give credit where it's due to the Biden administration. I would say the director Biden appointed has done a good job in the role. You remember how long this process took under the Trump admin, right?
Great video as always.
Great content as always 👍
Good ob. Well thought out.
Funny thing, I lost all my guns in a boating accident. It's a shame really.
Thank you.
Should this have come out 2 months ago? It's 3 days before the election day.
Good job on the video
Let's go Trump! 🎉
Trump took away gun rights. No way would I vote for him. Harris has promised not to do that and I believe her. Obama said the same thing and Obama expanded our rights to carry in parks. Trump literally took rights away... all good dictators do that.
@wvmountaineer69 So your a Harris voter. Enjoy being a slave.
@@wvmountaineer69Your level of misinformation is staggering.
These suppressor prices are ridiculous.
You can always get a Witt
I have a CMMG Mk 47 Resolute to cover both the AK and the AR. I had many more firearms, but they were all tragically lost in a canoeing accident, 50 miles off the coast of South Carolina.
