My Horror Asylum | Poem Within these walls, where silence reigns supreme, I dwell in shadows, lost to light's embrace, A prisoner of thought, of fear, of dream, Where madness scrawls its truth upon my face. The corridors stretch endless, cold and bare, Each step an echo of the soul's despair, The wind that howls is not from earth or air, But from the broken minds that wander there. The whispers come, like serpents in the night, They twist and coil inside my weary brain, They tell of horrors hidden from the light, Of secrets whispered only to the insane. No solace found in darkness or in day, For in this place, no time or space is real, The clocks have stopped, the sun has lost its way, And in the void, the deepest wounds reveal. The doctors here are phantoms in disguise, They wear their masks of pity, white and pure, But in their hollow, cold, indifferent eyes, They feed on suffering they can't endure. I scream, but silence swallows every word, The walls, like graves, absorb my hollow cry, Each plea for freedom, like a prayer unheard, Is lost beneath the ever-watchful sky. For here, in this asylum of my mind, I am both keeper and the captive soul, A twisted fate where no escape I find, And horror's grip becomes my bitter whole. So here I stay, in endless, grim repose, A life entombed within these haunted halls, Where every shadow deeper darkness shows, And every echo to my madness calls.
