Fallen Angel a Dark Poem From heaven’s heights, with wings of light once spread, He fell, a star extinguished in the night, No longer bound by glory’s golden thread, But cast in shadows deep, devoid of sight- A broken soul, forsaken from the height. The light that crowned his brow has turned to ash, His wings, now stained with grief, no longer soar, In every step, the thunder seems to crash, A cry for mercy drowned by heaven’s door- A whisper lost within a distant roar. He walks the earth, where angels fear to tread, A wanderer in realms of mortal strife, And though his grace has long been left for dead, He seeks redemption in a fleeting life- A spark of hope in endless storms of night. Yet in his eyes, the fire of wrath still burns, A flame too bright for even time to tame, For in his fall, the heavens twist and churn, As angels weep to speak his sacred name- The fallen one, forever marked by flame. No home above, no place in hell below, He walks between the stars and endless dark, A shadow cast by light he used to know, A broken angel, wandering, and stark- A lonely figure, bearing heaven’s mark.
