It's HOT where we are! So I'm staying inside. The first one was cute. Would be nice outside. The sea glasses are pretty! Would have never thought of using the lights in candle holders. Thanks for sharing all these solar lights ideas

Hi Dave 👋🏻 here in hot & sunny Miami, Fl. We’ve had lots of rain the past 2 wks but nonetheless hot in the upper 90’s. I love, love! all the solar lights you made! #1 my favorite I’m a flowery person! To the persons worrying about the solar batteries wearing off, I have the same lights in my yard for more than 2 yrs and are still going strong! Maybe because we have sun all year long! so happy you’re having a great summer, enjoy and always thank you for all the happiness you bring to us with your amazing crafts! ❤🥰🌹
Hi Dave, I’m so happy you are enjoying your summer! Thankful we have a garden with the lack of rain here. So far we have been harvesting tomatoes, Zucchini, yellow squash, jalapeños , Cajun belles and okra from our garden. Spent Father’s Day thru Friday down in Miramar Beach Florida. Very hot and humid here in North Alabama. Currently 98° with 101° heat index. Love your ideas keep the great videos coming!!
Hi Reese, omg, I love the sounds of your vegetable garden and you are growing so much!! I didn't do vegetables this year, I decided to plant annuals in my raised garden beds instead. I do miss eating my cherry tomatoes right off the plant though...soooo good. I hope it gets a bit cooler for you all in NA. 😊😊😊
@@DavesWreaths I too enjoy eating the grape or cherry tomatoes off the vine. I did plant a variety of flowers this year including Daffodils and Tulips. I sure hope they do well next season.
Finally some really lovely weather here in Essex UK. I love to light up my garden in each of the little seating areas that I have created. You have given me some great ideas for a change up xx
Your ideas are always so much fun to do. I did notice you got a new couch looks good. Our summer is spent at our summer home its very relaxing, enjoy your summer and stay safe.
here in south Carolina we are about to die of the heat. so I stay inside as much as I can. we have 4seasons here summer , summer, summer , and almost summer,
I've been working in the landscaping, weeding, planting and rethinking things. I've done some crafts. I can't seem to keep a clean house but I will keep trying. LOL!
Hi Dave, hope your garden is turning out well and you're still enjoying warm weather. Over here in Yorkshire, since you made this video, we had around a week of beautiful weather but now back to rain and colder air😕, off to Ibiza soon so looking forward to some sunshine again. Great ideas Dave, love these, thanks for sharing, you're so creative 👍☺️
Love all of them ❤ my Summer is good so far spending time with my 3 year old Grandson hope your having a good summer also I'm also doing a garden for my first time
My summer has been so busy and fun. I have been to the mountains for my 65th birthday. Then been crafting. As you know, crafts tend to need to be taken apart sometimes. My lantern definitely needed my attention too many times but I finally finished it.
Let's see, there's always gardening. A country music festival in July, Vegas and a work conference in August, a trip to Texas to visit family, and a cruise in October. So, no real plans 😂 Dave, I've seen several of the light DYIs, and yours are a wonderful standout!
Hey Dave I attempted the sea glass with the glue & food colouring....I am letting them dry overnight before I bake them....I used liquid food colouring....the inside of the jars are very runny....Could that be from using liquid as opposed to the paste food colouring?
Great ideas, love all of them. Just finished up school year, part time in our Health Office. Will be staying home, gardening & pooling it. Oh yea, walking my dog, reading on the deck.....just lazin' around. 😊
Wow never thought to use the solar lights that way!! #3 could be used at Wedding Reception instead if Candles.. I have been making Wreaths and Canning Jams, Pepper Relish and other fruits and veggie… enjoying Summer …like the hair cut by the way… thanks for the Demos!!
I'm glad I discovered your channel - you have a new subscriber. I'm in Southern CA and our weather's been crazy, ,so I'm behind in propagating, etc. my many plants outdoors.
As usual, so creative! 1 & 2 are my faves and I'm definitely going to make #1 with yellow roses and a giant bee for my porch. As for summer, I hate it! I have lived my life in the south, Florida and Alabama, and I stay inside with the air conditioning. My neighbors know they won't see me again until October😂
Hi Scarlett, hahaha....I had a good little chuckle reading your comment about not coming out until October. 😊 😊 I'm so glad you enjoyed the first two DIYs.
We had a brutal heatwave here in Connecticut when I finally decided to take on the backyard lawn project. 8 yards of top soil I spread, but I'm determined to get lush Kentucky blue grass. Your so talented inspiring Dave, thanks for sharing your creativity.
Hey Dave, love the DIY. It's hot here in Georgia, USA; 90s. Glad when fall and winter get here. I especially like the vases; cute and colorful. Great idea😊❤💯
Thanks so much PK!!!! 90's eh? WOW that is hot....phew....I'm sweating just thinking about that heat. It's getting a tad warmer and the humidity is coming up here....so I'm sure we'll see those temperatures soon here. Have a great day!!! 😊😊😊
Hi Deborah, I'm so sorry to hear it's so hot where you are. Hopefully it gets a bit cooler soon. Love that you have been working in your gardens as well. 😊😊😊
I'm so happy you're having a good summer so far.. We haven't done too much, it's been too darn hot.. not sure if we're going anywhere.. I would like to go someplace by myself.. LOL!! 😂😂 I really love these ideas with the solar lights.. The second one I did similar with glasses from the Dollar tree.. mine were already green but I sure would like to get some and paint them like you did.. That sea glass effect is so pretty.. 🍻🍻 Here's to a great summer 🍻🍻👍🤗😁💗
Thank you so much Tamala!!!! It’s good to not do too much in the heat. Gotta stay cool when it gets that hot. 🥵 I hope the heat comes down a bit so you can enjoy the sunshine ☀️ Enjoy!!!!😊
❤❤ I loved your beautiful lights. You have given me some inspiration. Thank you. I have been having a great summer looking forward to a new great grand baby but I came down with a summer cold. Stay safe and healthy and have a great summer 😊😊❤
Hi there Mr. Dave, it's Lily in FL, those were worth waiting for, hope all is good with you. It's been hit here for a while and rainy season has finally begun. Not a moment too soon my trees and lawn really needed more than I was giving them. I'll share with you my most recent garden coo. I was just over the moon. I've been searching for a monsterra Thai constellation for a couple of years at a reasonable price, and a couple of days ago, VICTORY Zwas mine. I, too, am a gardener. Have a great rest of the week. Take good care.
Hi Lily, thank you so much. So glad that the rain has come and watered all your yard and what a great victory in scoring that monesterra!!! YAY!!!! You have a great week and I hope the rain cools everything off a bit for you. 😊😊😊

Hi Deanna, I'm sorry it's so hot there for you in Florida. A little trip away to see family where it's cooler will help. Thanks so much and enjoy your time in Minnesota. 😊

Such a great idea Dave I can you them on my back patio have twinkle lights back there to wil make some for my table out there some for my flower stands to😊thnx for this tutorial Dave happy day ❤
Hi Dave it's 99 here in Idaho I'm glad you are enjoying your summer I loved the first one the best the roses with the solar lights that would be so pretty for a night party or engagement party thanks for sharing another easy project
I loved the sea glass project. The only thing is eventually the solar battery will no longer charge and it has to be replaced. Hot gluing the top to the vase would make it harder to get the solar part out to change the battery. You could always buy a new light since they're cheap but I would be disappointed if the glass broke trying to get it out. I was wondering if a little heat aimed at the glue would soften it up to remove the dead stake.
Hi Diane, you can use an exacto knife or utility knife to pry away at the hot glue and it will come off easily. The glue is against metal and glass, so it tends to come off with a small amount of force (but not excessive that you chip your paint on the glass). Then once the old light is out, you can replace the with a new one. 😊😊😊
I loved your sample ideas for using those lights. I'll have to give it a try. I used those solar lights and broom handles from Dollar Tree. I created a pattern of plastic beads that were colorful and translucent and gluded them to the lantern of the light. I put the ends of the lanterns in the broom handle and put them in the ground outside in front of the house . I was very pleased how the colored lights added interest to our flower garden at night. That was 2 years ago and they are still going strong.
