lol I almost fell off my chair when it was all quiet, and we are watching the butter melt, and you quietly say, "I wonder what that smoke is?" at 3:37, and then go on to the next task! It's moments like that that keep me coming back!
Woo-Hoo! Looks like the internet connection is working great! Always happy to see another video from you guys. Tell the Keykeeper he's doing a great job adding videos to his channel as well. Keep it up, guys!
Thanks for posting this, Bill! I love fettuccine alfredo so I think I'm going to try following what you did here and make my own from scratch too! Nothing more satisfying than a meal you cooked entirely yourself!
uxwbill: ...tuned to UA-cam's best channel, which we know is true since I read it on the internet and everything on the internet is true. bizzarefurhead: My channel is the best! uxwbill: Whatever. love the humor :D
also bill i forgot to mention in my previous comment to keep the pasta from sticking add a tablespoon olive oil to the boiling water works well and trust me i been cooking for years now
Hey mate, greasy kitchen = EPIC eats, but DAMN, did that old girl of a stove cleans up NICE.. good to see some REAL appliances being used... xD Have fun mate, I miss good Southern eats.. ma cooks a bit bland here.. heh, some of it's good, but not like the real-deal I'd get in places like WA..
This makes me want to make some. I buy the Michelina's but at a whopping $1 a box here (Used to be .50 cents a box) that is just too rich for my blood, and making it would be cheaper! Looked good! "He is acting weirder than usual, must be something in the water!" LOL
@uxwbill Your kitchen is no cleaner than mine is. And usually no less littered with electronics than mine is. Don't feel bad! As for grating cheese... I recommended you get a citrus zester. It's a nifty little device for grating up hard cheeses and citrus rind.
ahh makin the good ole alfredo i tried this once and it went quite well but it was expensive to make but i prefer that michelina's alfredo just as good but for homemade cant beat home made alredo sauce
uuh real italian food! Too bad the "Parmesan" sold in america is not even Parmigiano Reggiano or Grana Padano :( If you didn't made one i have a really good sauce for pasta that here in italy we have, the Puttanesca. Our recipe is tomato sauce, tuna (in can is ok), capers, hot pepper (not the powder), parsley, anchovies and olive oil (no butter). If you're really interested i will write down the precise recipe and how to make it. Is really tasty!
"I wonder what that smoke is"....words you NEVER want to hear anyone say, LOL I could make a joke about Bizarrefurhead's tongue and females but I think I'll pass.

Mom and Dad had a friend that had a stove like yours except his was brown. It was still there when he died and the house was sold a few years ago.

I have to admit that I love your cooking videos!
Gee, whats the bizarrefurhead seal compared against the Keykeeper's Five Key rating? And I love the channel you picked for the video, thanks.
"I just can't be bothered to spend 2 hours making those noodles again.. I wonder what that smoke is.."
Lol that just sounded funny.
since you took such a long break from making videos, I expect at least 5 vids a day
or else!
I know this is an old video, I found a Paula Dean version I made a few times, stick of butter half and half, and a stick of cream cheese great results
