Thank you for making this video and notes!!! That helps me to study this injury chapter without feeling stuck trying to understand these concepts by just plainly reading the book. Wish me luck for the upcoming ACE CPT exam, Bro'!
Correct. I didn't make videos on ch ch 12 (Case studies) and ch 13(mind body Exercise) because they are not important from exam point of view. You will get zero questions from that section.
@@rebelwithadream3303 Thank you very much for letting me know. I cannot begin to tell you how helpful all your videos are. I don't know what I would do without them. Thank you, thank you!!!
These topics are less and more precise in the sixth edition syllabus. I think you are still studying from the fifth edition PT manual book. It's better to arrange the sixth edition if you are planning to give the exam in 2023
Well, they will ask you from areas where it is in the scope of a Personal Trainer. Example things like what Exercises to avoid if some client has IT band syndrome, Low back pain, Elbow tendinitis, rotator cuff injuries, etc. Also, Exercise progressions for people with ankle problems, and so on. So you have to study the chapter.
This chapter has become slightly less complicated if you are following the latest sixth edition book. Anyways, don't skip. Just leave it for now and move on to the next chapter. Once you are in a better state of mind, come back and read it. 🙂
FYI- Strain has a “t” in the word. T for tendon. Only muscle has tendon. So Strain=muscle/tendon injury.
Good tip. Nice work Joe 👍
