Thanks Mr Foreman and Wilms for one of the best travel shows in cyberspace. So much better than most of the ones on TV, most of which are little more than infomercials. The quality of your videos is impressive as is the commentary you both provide which is both very informative and entertaining.
Thanks very much for the high praise. Glad you've enjoyed the films. Just tinkering about on the final details of episode 6. Hoping it will air within the week. Cheers.
Ha you're hilarious Pigeon! Episode 5 was my first of the F&W that i have watch. I remember the one you made with Mr Ganley up in "beep" Land around 2003. And Hi to Wilms. Congratulations on your wedding!!! I was a 19 year old guide in Alice /Darwin who thought Mr Foreman & Mr Ganley were WILDERNESS GODS!!
Great vid! thanks again. In addition to the periodic checks specified, one I might add is the hub-check. Every time you stop for lunch, toilet break (which is frequent with my kids) or at camp, immediately walk around your vehicle and trailer placing your hand on your wheel hubs. If one is excessively hot (in-difference to the others) then this may be an early indication of a wheel bearing failure.
Port Hedland, home. Enjoying the videos. The caravan park prices have always been ridiculous. Had you of ventured into PH first you have have noticed the race track - free to stay! Opened by our former mayor.
Greetings there Mark. Cheers for the comments. Those flyovers do take a while as for most part I build my own models which would come as no surprise to most. But I am getting a little better and faster. I'm most excited having unlocked the secrets of the graph editor allowing full control over animation curves. Very sad really and a sign of my age. Most healthy males have quite different interests on their computers down in the gloomy basement.
Hi guys, Just finished watching your walkabout series back to back. Fantastic doco making! Given the time and effort you both put into these videos I hope you are able to earn something from them. I look forward to the next instalment :-) Cheers, Mark
We obviously have a few things in common as my tackle box looks just like yours :) I also tried the 'no hand on the tiller' trick and ended up in the back of the tinnie. A bit sad you missed the best spot on this section, Cleaverville is an awsome campsite where I have caught many nice fish just offshore.
Why didn't I think of that idea? Too many opportunities slip by. I actually use a cable tie on the band of my watch replacing the tuck in strap. As for that shirt, I only recently saw it lingering about in one of my drawers. It is still around.
Great video and sound quality. What digital Video camera our you using for these videos. Very sharp focus and great sound quality. I subscribed to your channel and look forward to seeing more. You two are a great team. David from the gold country of California.
Greetings David. All our equipment was outdated even back then. The main workhorse was the canon xa10, we used a canon eos 7d dlsr, two gopros and a big clunky drone that carried one of the gopros. Glad you enjoyed the films and thanks for subscribing.
Foreman and Wilms Adventures - The Cannon XA10 is a good camcorder. Your images are all sharp in focus and the sound is good. Thanks for the education on Australian landscape, wildlife, insects and reptiles. Great videos and I plan on watching them all.
Cossack was once a pearling port and it's was called tsin tsin harbour for pearling then moving to Broome to find picatinda maxima pearl shell and amazing cultral pearls to see at pearl farms at Willie creek pearl farm to look at go to the malcom Douglas croc park Broome to see the crocodiles
Great production values! Really good research into all the animals and plants and fish as well. All that said, I would caution you about “handling the wildlife” for the camera tho. This can ONLY be legally done as part of an approved wildlife research project and with the appropriate permit from the DPAW dept (Dept Parks & Wildlife). It is actually an offence punishable by a fine up up to $10,000 and / or 12 months in jail, to handle all native wildlife under the Wildlife Act. You can film them to your hearts content, you just can’t physically handle them. In the definitions of the Act, handling native protected wildlife is an offence and defined as “taking protected Wildlife” which goes on to define as having in one’s possession & catching etc. So the very last thing you should do is film and then publish the evidence the DPAW Wildlife Officers could just download and save a copy to then prosecute & convict you, without leaving the comfort of their air conditioned office. You can probably get away with handling them if you really must, but just don’t self publish the evidence needed to convict you for the offence is all. Sure as eggs you will eventually attract the attention of an overzealous Wildlife Officer looking for a slam dunk case, at zero cost to his department. Prosecuting you yields them the not insubstantial $10k fine but more importantly publicises the point that not everyone can just go out and be a self appointed “Harry Butler In The Wild”. I say this, having been said Wildlife Officer in a past life, including working with Harry Butler OBE (RIP) & filming wildlife documentaries myself in the past for Govt. Like I said you both have excellent high quality filming and production values - everything needed to be very successful in producing informative and educational documentaries. It would be a shame to see you stopped in your tracks for a Wildlife Offence is all. Keep up the good work. 👍👍👍🇦🇺
Well done guy's , nice show

Greetings Jarrod. The hub check is indeed a major point left out from that little speech. I'm kicking myself for that one. I'll blame Wilms! Cheers.
Well done team. Wish I was there to share that tasty cod and super stoked for the Kimberley vids!
Great video Guys!!!!
Thanks Gary. Cheers.

Nice work. Loving the "fly over" animations, must take you forever to put it together.

Another quality production ! Cable ties should fix that shirt Mr Foreman :P

Been hanging out for this one :) Great work as usual.
Thanks Jackel Jackel. Cheers.
