Consider photocopying some extra expense tracker pages; ild begin with 12, one for every month. If you need nore than what are provided for a given month, simply slip it into place. At the end of the month, crop or cut it down to fit, then staple it in with 2 or 3 stapes across the top of the page. Sometimes, just being aware that you have "plenty" helps. Replace the sticker banners across the top of the page or, photocopy with the sticker banner then color it in using colored pencils, felt tips, or other.

That is such a great idea! I’ll definitely have to try that. My printer is very finicky so I may have to do that at another available printer at work. I will definitely make copies because I do need them! Thank you Terry! ☺️💜🙌🏻

I saw in one of your responses to a comment that you like Chick Fil A, Canes, Whatburger. Costco sells the big bag of frozen chicken nuggets (like Chick Fil A), and frozen french fries. If you have an air fryer, you can pop them in, for a quick meal. I think WalMart sells the Chick Fil A sauce in a bottle. Same thing as what you can buy at Chick Fil A, without the price tag. If the kids are old enough, they can possibly make that themselves. Suggestion, reallocate your eating out funds (or most of it) to your grocery budget, this way you eliminate the ease of picking up 'fast food'. Half the problem is changing the mindset from 'I have it to spend, to not having it to spend'. I usually just look up recipes online and try to make things from the recipe the first time. Then I know how to change it to accomodate my family's tastes. Good luck!

Thank you for the tips! You are so right about the ease of grabbing fast food! I'm going to need to be intentional. I’ll work on it thank you so much ☺️🙏🏼💜

That's amazing! I'm going to start using my instapot and possibly crockpot more often. I can get it all going before work and that will be a great start to having a home cooked meal. 🙏🏼💜 I appreciate you so much Clarissa😊

Happy Saturday Sandra! That’s the attitude girl-Let’s knock it out, so it won’t be a thorn in your side Anymore! I’m cheering you on Loud📣📣📣📣🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️I’m setting up my plan to finish off my small debts. RT ought now, I’m also saving up for the grand kids Summrr camp this Year. It’s a whopping $900😮😮😮I’m halfway there, feeling positive I’ll have by March. Sandra, as for Meals, I don’t watch cooking shows, but I like to cook no nonsense meals, like spaghetti, hamburger helper, nachos, chicken w/ rice, homemade tacos, even breakfast foods sometimes. Add lots of veggies, and you should be good. Along the way, it’ll get you aside. My 12 year old grandson has Type 1 diabetes, but it’s not that complicated preparing meals we all can eat. I just recycle the meals we like, and keep it moving. Don’t make it another stressor for yourself. Hope this helps. Love ya’ chica❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I appreciate the encouragement and tips! I'm going to keep it simple this year and make meal prep a priority. 💪 I’ve already got some meals on hand and my husband is on board as well with more homemade meals for dinner. He is the better cook, so on the days he can he said he will cook. On his busy work days I need to be ready to cook what I can. 🙌🏻💜 you will hit your goals of paying down the debt and getting the funds for your grandkids! You got this Angela! I appreciate you so much 💜💜💜💜🥰

My food is so bland. My husband is the better cook but it’s his work schedule that usually gets in the way of him cooking. When I cook my girls look at each other like they’re worried 😅 jk it’s not that bad but I know I can do better. Thank you for being here 💜 I’m going to do what I can to get better.

Ill be trying to give you a building block of basic foods. Ill be concentrating on sides because if it doesnt turn out ideal or the family doesn't like it even if perfect, there is still additional food on the table. I'm certainly starting off with sides that can be tunmed into a main or used to make a main. BTW - Small amounts of left over mains can be turned into a side served in smaller to much smaller portions too.

@MyChaoticBudget Consider taking out a notebook/ notebook page to write down the names of the dishes in the order that I comment on them. And ideally enough of the recipie source that I give so that you can Google them in the future. I'm commenting on the basic versions without all the extras and additives. The premise being you want every day, frugal versions not company nor holiday versions. Adding the kitchen sink of extras becomes easy enough to do once you get the basic dish down.

When ypu dine out - What are you eating? If you could let your tastebuds direct you, what would you be eating whether fast food, cafe or diner, at home, or what ever? It would help me make suggestions.
Ib this internet age, i suggest you gather a 3 ring notebook, a hole punch, and a non water soluable pen (something thst wont bleed if the writing gets wet, nothing special). A used or a $1.25 note book will work. Then begin by printing recipies that seem like they might work; here we can get so many black znd white pages for free from the library. Indontvsuggest printing reams of paper but enough to try inthe next upcoming days on a repedative basis. Use tge pen to make notes on the print outs.

The link in this video is about making mashed potatoes. I hope you have had a chance to try out making rice. Basic mashed potatoes are a budget friendly basic to master. Use them as a side, use them as a casserile topper, use them to make a casserole crust, or even a left over mashed potato pancake. Again, ive reached put to the Hillybilly kitchen. She is using medium baker Russets which are bigger than the #2's in the inexpensive 10 pound bag and as such take less peeling work. It would be my advice to wash your potatoes well before peeling, then separate browm and bad spots from regular peels, green spots from regular peels. Toss the bad and green peels, put the regular peels into a repurposed bread bag then in the freezer. Use tje frozennpeels to make future stock, soups, and stews; ill give you more on that in the future.

For learning a lot of cooking basics in a no-fuss way with basic ingredients, i highly suggest the Hillbilly Kitchen channel. The basic ingredients lists are always in the description box. BUT itnis inportant tomlksten tomthe cckdeos because tney are always chock full of theory tid bits, possible adaptations, substitutions, and potential additions.
Have you tried the basic cooking of lompng grained rice yet; ive added a link below. 1 pound of long grained rice contains 2.25 cups. Call it 2 cups and consider a price point of $1 for 1 pound. The recipie calls for 1 cup so it costs $.50. Serve the cooked rice a side and serve it with butter on the side. Or grease a casserole, dish mix the rice with 1 or 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, add some tuna or cooked chicken (Great Value canned would work), top with some shredded cheese, and bake at 350 degrees until all is hot; portioned into containers this would work for lunches too. Alternatively put some of the rice into a bowl, add some milk, top with sugar and cinnamon (or apple pie, punkin pie, or other similar spices) a d eat as a breakfast cereal.
