The fact that you gave respect to the Chun li stage in alpha 3 MAD RESPECT MAN . It's really one of my favorites.
Alpha 3 is still my favorite fighting game of all time. The extra characters and modes in the home console and psp ports just made it better to me. Also shoutout to the impressive gba port as well
Alpha 3 was badass back in the day. Still is badass. Easily my favorite street fighter.

Dude X-ism Chun-Li does about a million chip damage with spinning bird kick if she catches you blocking at the wrong time. It’s really fun to play it does like 15 hits when blocked.
My "strategy" with X-ISM (Classic Mode) Chun-Li in playthrough is pretty much pressure the oponent into the corner trying to make them (air) block my Spinning Bird Kick. It's almost ridiculous how much damage it does, totally worth the inevitable punishiment - which is usually weak, since Classic Chun-Li can't be juggled. Rinse and repeat.
Sadly no one was paying this guy to play Chun. He's gotta eat
X-Ism Chun was so strange, like she didn't have all of the moves that she did in A and V-Isms. She couldn't shoot Kikokens, only had one super, had no aerial moves, I remember being so mad that her SF2 skin was basically the more difficult version than her Alpha skin. And then the CPU on A/V-Ism? Oh my god, talk about quarter-stealing AI lol.
This set need a runback, cuz the guy out to work and cuz was a really interesting set.
Hope we can see it someday.

I used to beat the CPU using just Xism Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick because it does a ridiculous amount chip damage.

The only time I use X-Ism is using Bison. Not a fan of his fireball.

Xism chun does wild damage even on guard. I remember floe did an old game stream and said "here's a 30 second chun" and it was just xism chun jumping short to close palm lol. I definitely used that in 30th anniversary for a while because it was easy even during lag😅 this was a good chun though! I liked the AA fierces. Made her seem like a wall at times. I liked your CC off air recovery after her kick super near the end too...never thought to use it in that situation.
The thing about X-Ism in general is that the character in question does a lot of damage during their offense, kinda like with SSF2T, and their SuperCombo does more damage. The trade-off is that their defense/stamina is mediocre to low depending on the character and just like with SSF2T, you only use one SuperCombo on that character. You're technically Akuma from 2nd Attack and 3rd Strike: Great offense, terrible stamina.
I haven't seen many people that use that mode yet, but who knows?
The spinning bird kick does ridiculous chip damage when you got the opponent in the corner blocking. I actually like xism chun but I didn’t like that her air kicks were changed as a reversal move only for xism as it’s pretty hard to get reversals out in alpha 3
@@stevesteve0521 That's another thing I forgot about X-Ism. Some characters have one more either excised or changed to provide a different option. Take Adon's Jaguar Kick, for instance. It becomes an aerial RK that takes a different property depending on the height and momentum at the moment you execute the attack.

Tai chi, which involves Qigong. They're doing Yang style, maybe? They're doing snake creeps into "golden roster stands on one leg."

X-ism Chun is just ST Chun with some differences
Kind of but she lacks a hadouken and her air kicks can only be used as a reversal move. She does ridiculous damage though especially her grab and her spinning bird kick does crazy chip damage when the opponent is in the corner blocking

Sadly it is not the same feeling since sf3 onwards. This character was perfect. Super fluid.
Why don't people mash on guard break? You literally, actually recover faster. And can fool your opponent into thinking he's got the drop on you.
Can't take X-ism characters lightly as they don't need to do as much to KO you

I know and I still hate it...not gonna lie, Chun was one of the characters that if I saw her in the arcade ladder, I'd be tempted to quit and start the arcade ladder over again. I HATED fighting Chun in this game.

He only learned how to play as vism Sakura in the game he mentioned it multiple times in several videos. He’s stuck with her since then so he really doesn’t play with any other character. I’m the same way with Dhalsim in alpha 3, although I can play with all the shotos and a little bit of cammy and guy, Dhalsim is my go to character
