You were able to compress because of the other orca, you need to equip one of the compression modules to be able to do it yourself, and the rest of your fleet can as well

I have attached a suggested Orca fit. Bare in mind, this is a multirole fit which combines a mining capital with a travel fit. The Orca _is_ a considerable investment, so utilize it to it's fullest. Tweak the fit to suit your playstyle and budget:

stupid question: does that command boost Mining Foreman Burst II module running Mining Laser field Enhancement Charges -- does this improve your own mining drone yield, or is it just for other, fleet ships using mining modules/lasers?
Sadly no. Only fleet members with mining laser modules
Correct, orca needs core to run the ore/ice/moon compressors, and also it uses heavy water to run the core. Damn that guristas skin looks ace! I really need it! :)
Either you have anti gank fleet on grid (with logis) or you need to max tank this Orca. I would put max shield tank in mids and structure tank +DC in lows/rigs.
You will be rammed by fast ships before you can warp out. Which cause you to not align. And prevent you from warping. More effective than any web.
Only way to defeat it is use a higs and a warp cycle to warp out while not aligned fully.
Hello I had a off-topic question. When do you fit Purgers or extenders in the Gila?. Is it based on passive or active? 'cause its something that has be a little confused.
Both are technically suited for passive/semi-passive fits, but different types. Purgers are for high passive regen for sustained damage, extenders are better for passive buffer for high short term damage (can be great for abyss). Both can benefit from active resistance modules if neuts aren't ta problem.
I use a half and half method With Purgers for all rigs; Shield Extenders, 1x EM amplifier, 1-2x Multispec-Hardners for mids; Damage modules and Shield relays for lows (replace 1 relay with power diagnostic system if using 2x multispec hardners)
I wouldn't use any purgers or more than 1 extender for an active tank as you need big shield booster modules and lots of capacitor modules/fittings to be cap stable.

So you sugest that 2.5b hull 500m fittings is chill mining, I'm not going to work out how much time is need to spend mining high sec with only drones to make buying 3b of ship to chill mine. Kinda pointless tbh

Use to be 100 mill ISK/Belt in highsec. So you would need to fully clear 25 untouched belts before it pays for itself, and that doesnt include the cost of the Barges.

Anyone mining with something so expensive free hint how to stay alive. Use dscan and watch local. If u see emo goth looking guys and 300 destroyers within 1au it's good idea to warp the hell out of there. To do it fast take fast ship BEFOREyou start mining and drive 400km one direction. Make bookmark lets say alpha. Ok go back to where you mine and make other bookmark 400km opposite way. So you mine aligned to these two points by turns and warp instanly when needed. It's lazyness that kill ppl.
Actually there are gankers that suicide gank around the island, but don't think they would target a tanky Orca.

@@xerxesfehrnah5848. Yup. If they want you dead, you’re dead. Playing for over 18 years now and suicide ganking has always existed in hi sec. Just be ready to warp if a fleet shows up in local and/or dscan. Ganking isn’t about making isk, or being cost effective, it’s just about blowing up sh!t in hi sec on unsuspecting pilots. I live in low sec full time and I always feel unsafest in hi sec, kinda ironic.

To take it a step further, so if I manage too warp off to a safe... and thats a big fat fucking......if, given who and the hell can stare at Local chat for hours on end to see if it loads up, while mining.
and unless I don't cloak up, then the combat probes come out and ......
So essentially I pay my Omega accounts with real money and I focus my real life time so a kid with no social skills can entertain himself on my behalf and Cpp can profit from both of us?
Make no mistake here, I've tossed billions of Isk into Pvp over the years, into Fac war and Red vs Blue combat straight up
However now that I have had fun skilling up 4 Characters to run a good mining Op with an Orca and pull down 200 mil in high sec ore, in a long session, it may be time to just tic that off my list and move onto other things in Eve....
