- It' s lunchtime for the gorilla's in Antwerpen! Vizazi is already two months old. wow, time flies by! I enjoy every minute of her. It was lovely to see the troup outside and let's be honest, Thandie is still so freakin cute!
Mambele is a lovely mom and definitely wants to do good. A bit to good maybe because she 'groomed' Vizazi a bit to good. But it' s superficial and caretakers told us not to worry about it! hope you'll enjoy the video!

Vazazi has very cute hair . She is definitely an adorable little tike . Sweet little Thandie is really enjoying her celery. They were all munching happily today. Loved loved this video 💛💚💙💜

I see that Eastern Lowland Gorillas have a very different “look” than the Western Lowlands. The look is more human-like to me.

Hi Dear, I was wondering if you know why Amahoro cannot have babies. I know she is from the wild, but is that the reason? I saw many comments that she wont have babies but can never get an answer as to exactly why because even though she is a different breed cant she still mate and have a baby here? I've put it in the description. Mambele tried to keep her daughter clean. But she did it a little but 'to good'. The wounds are superficial and the zookeepers told me to not worry about it, it will heal ;).
The silverback is impressive but he doesn't have much of a sagittal crest. He must be young.
When you say that Mambele fled Vizazi a bit too much, is that another way of saying groomed her a bit too much and that is why Vizazi has a few small wounds on her face?
I cannot believe how big Thandie is getting! She is adorable! So is Vizazi!

What’s that scar on the mum’s head? What happened to her? Actually, the baby also has fresh abrasions on her nose and forehead. What’s going on?
Mum had some problems with one of the groupmember a while back. She scratches the scar every time when it is almost healed.
It's also in the description about Vizazi; Mom fled her a bit 'to enthousiastic'. The wounds are superficial and will heal quickly, the zookeepers told us not to worry about it. They keep a close eye on it.
