Thanks my friend for the video you just solved one of my problems. I just bought those Hatchet X, but the holes were for the Kraton 8s already because the wheel and tire set is for the Kraton 8S and not for the X Maxx. Thanks a bunch.

I was thinkin of the EXB BB wheel/tires cuz only 4.75lbs to put on my XMAXX, I have the same hex nut because I want to use my 5IveT and 5SC tires also. But you mentioned the EXB wheel won’t fit the XMAXX? I love the size of EXB wheel/tire
Great video and a lot of good info here. I recently bought the same nuts in black so I can swap around all my 5th scale spwheels and tires with the xmaxx. It's nice to not have to buy wheels exclusive to the xmaxx. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Jason try the Duratrax Lockup X wheels and tires on your Kraton 8s So far what I have found they are by far the best belted tire I could find for a 5th scale RC car. I have mine set up like a psychopath with almost wonder one gearing and I have yet to destroy a tire or rim. Just my 2 cents I would try him if I were you
What about over heating issues on the Xmaxx etc., when you switch to a slightly bigger/heavier tire set??? Do you need to change gearing??

No. It’s a Pitdawg hydro dipped body.
I tried using the Outcast 8s wheels on my X-Maxx with those nuts and it didn't work. There was a lot of play back and forth once they were on the hubs of my X-Maxx 🤔.
cant you just put a washer in front of the stock nuts?

good info on the wheelnut. unrelated question, does the kr8ton stock firma esc allow for 100% reverse in the programming or is stuck to 50% like the max6? unrelated question number 2: how do you get your videos to always go into my suggested feed on youtube? i make videos but i dont think they become suggested. thank you for you time, cheers
PS if you are still having issues with your xmaxx pinion slipping i made a video on my channel that may help you on how to prevent your pinion slipping on the motor shaft, hope you solved your issue if not i hope this helps!
Reverse can go from 25% all the way to 100%. As for the videos showing up in your suggested feed I have no idea. However I wish I knew.

@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs I believe the UA-cam algorithm goes something like this, the more likes a video gets, and the more views a video gets, then UA-cam moves your video to the front of the line sort of speak.

Here's the tough question? Which one do you prefer running the kraton or the Xmaxx ?
I have the xmaxx and outcast 8s and kraton 8s along with both 6s versions. They are all a blast to run and all have their pluses and minuses. The outcast is probably the best handling truck while in the air. The both 6 & 8 S kraton are a blast to just bash with. And is an all around great truck. The xmaxx can do it all just as good as the others and is lighter as well as plastic making it a little more forgiving.
hachet looks way better on the Kraton 8s imho..

It's not a true 1/5th scale most people will say it's 1/6th. Compared to the kraton 8s or just say a rampage mt the Xmaxx is quite a bit smaller. The body and wheels is what makes the xmaxx look bigger than it is.
Those wheel nuts are garbage and wobble unless you grind them down.
