I love watching you cook with your girls. My sister and I loved cooking with our mother who we lost to cancer when we were teens (with 5 brothers!!) You remind me so much of my mother who not only cooked and baked but also reupholstered our sofa, and chairs. I grew up thinking all mothers must do this “stuff”. Now at 62, I so admire your devotion to family, and the simplicity…thank you!
Your daughter with braids in her hair and 1970's style dress took me back to my youth. She looked so cute! I love your special cream color pan. I know you save it for special use.
You make it look so easy to whip up these yummy meals! I literally stand and stare at the ingredients I have....with NO CLUE how to pair them. Thanks for always inspiring me. 🙃😊
I feel like we see Johanna in the kitchen helping more. But I do like watching both the girls in the kitchen. Theyre going to become good wives and mama's someday too.
I’ve been following you since the last 3 births and I just melt every time I see your littles against you in the wraps. So precious! I love these meal videos as well.
Hi Lisa, thank you for the video, just a quick note on shrimps- it's better to put them in the last few minutes of cooking, as they tend to become rubbery if you cook them too much. so it's better to make the sauce first, and then in the last 3-4 mites to add the shrimps!
I absolutely love your channel. My sourdough starter is well over a year old and I’ve shared it with so many friends. I learned all about it from your videos. I have also been inspired to start my own podcast- The Comanche Farmgirl. Thank you so much for being such a huge inspiration ❤️
Your channel inspired me so much. I live alone and cook for 1, so I just get one chicken at the beginning of the week. With some vegetables, cream, flour, and milk. Through out the week i can have roast, left over chicken with rice, soup and pies etc. You have such a clever way of cooking and using up all the ingredients
As usual, you are an amazing cook! I love watching Theo when he is peeking out. He has really grown and is so adorable. I am addicted to your channel and look forward to your videos every week. I have been watching for about a year. I have gotten so much inspiration and new ideas from you. I too like to cook!
Amazing to watch you cook!! Everything looks so good. I am also amazed at what you can get accomplished with the baby in the wrap!! Your family will have so many blessed memories
I marinate my shrimp in soy sauce, ginger, garlic and koriander powder.. cook it and serve it with noodles or rice and some veggies. So quick and nutritious
I love your channel. I am pretty new to the channel I’m gonna go back and start watching you from the beginning as well. Because I am wanting to learn a lot of the ways that you do things because they seem more holistic.
Such a good idea on the pizzas, by adding the cheese first and then the sauce, my crust always gets soggy so I’ll have to change that up. As well as adding them to a sheet after being in the skillet for a while to feed a big crowd
I prefer wearing structured carriers, but man, that green wrap really makes me want to get into woven wraps. 😍 I also greatly appreciate the inclusion of the little scene during which your little boy is screaming. Reminded me that my kids are, in fact, normal!
Lisa, you gave me Lots of Inspiration!!! 🤗 I Made my own Sourdough Starter and now I can make my own Bread, which is wonderful! And the Taste ist like nothing I,ve ever tasted... Same with the Cast Iron Pans I've bought some Weeks ago. They are easy to handle, every Food I've made tasted great, I'm happy and so is my Family. So, I want to say Thank You!!! Love all of your Videos, Greets from Germany, Kerstin
You cook like me. Yaaaa! A little this a little that-it is what you are craving for the mood. Cozy-I do cozy here in Minnesota, last week -20. I like quiche. Lots of options for fillings using left over meats and veg. Garlic butter smokey paprika/cajun shrimp over mashed potatoes with chedder melt on top salt ,black pepper parsley. Yum.
This was such an enjoyable video. My heart melted when I saw that one little foot peek out. The way that you layer your flavors, the use of fresh ingredients and the variety that you use makes you one of favorites to watch for home cooking.
Lisa every time you make pizzas I wasn’t to crawl through the tv and take a slice!! 🤣 I want to try the sauce you and Luke like on your pizza, I know you e shared it before where to purchase so I’ll have to look below and see if that is listed. The girls helping in the kitchen is such a joy I know. I MISS those days and wish I could redo them over, and do more of what truly was important instead of rushing through things.. we get wiser when we age… you’re doing a great job! 🙏🏻
I can remember keeping my daughters, when they were tiny, in a carrier called a Snugli and I would have the hardest time frying to cook in a skillet because you have to try to keep the baby back but still have to reach around the baby!…but the baby, which ever one it was, would always be so happy to be snuggled up with mommy. You are an amazing cook when you are having to try to get everybody fed in a reasonable amount of time. Just wait when the numbers start to dwindle and you find how hard it is to cook for fewer people. We had a blended family of 9 children but I rarely had everyone to cook for at one time. I envy you having a house full of family to cook for…you are so lucky.
Hey Lisa, great video! Just thought I'd share that with seafood, particularly shrimp, you can actually quickly thaw them in a bowl of cold water without the risk of partially cooking them like you would with warm/hot water. :-)
You are an amazing house wife and mom, blessed you be for training your children learn with you in the kitchen so young , so smart. that is how i learned.
I’m not sure what kind of mushrooms you get where you are but I dry mushrooms and make a powder, it gives a great hearty taste to stews 🙂 It’s also great if you fry meet and add some cream and mushroom powder to the pan-juices 🙂 just add a splash of soy sauce and white pepper and voilà you have an amazing sauce
I don’t know how you get so much done with Theo attached to you and not searing his little bum. You work so fluidly and it’s like he’s not even there 👏 . He’s a doll by the way looks a lot like Daniel when he was a baby. 😘🥰
It’s fun to see the girls cooking with you. I just realized how much your oldest(Ruthie?) looks like you, don’t know why I never saw that before. The vintage dress your other daughter was wearing was so cute on her, it reminded me of the dresses I wore back in the 60s as a little girl. The baby is sweet and seems to enjoy having a front row seat to the action. It looks really hard for you to reach around him, though. Couldn’t you put him on your back and work a lot easier? The food looks amazing and I admire you! Your family is so lucky to get this good food.
Funny, the night of the stew I told myself that theo was getting big for the strechy wrap... the next day you were wearing a woven wrap! He look so peacefull in the 'arms' of his mother ❤
Love your videos Lisa, and my goodness he is so sweet and getting big already! Thank you for the pizza recipe I needed to see how it was done in the pan! I've been needing to make this!
We are expecting snow here in KS tomorrow. Crazy when yesterday we had 65 degrees weather! I love the meals and you just make it look so relaxing although I know there's alot of background activity lol with the kids. I have been cooking more ..ever since I watched your show so thank you !! Thank you for your hard work!
love all those great meals especially empanadas, and Chilli my fav...your children are beautiful. Your a hard working mom always making great meals for your family...Love it!
I think we're keeping the baby up. It looks like he's trying to nap. LOL. Theo is growing so much, he is stretching the wrap. A great variety of options shared. Thanks for the choices.
Hey, thank you so much for these videos, I love how relaxing and cozy they are ❤️❤️ I would love if you made a video giving tips on how to get the MOST out of your food (repurpose parts of a product, etc.) basically how to make a lot of food on a (little) budget!
If you have extra time... you can premake the crust and let them cool completely before adding the sauce so they don't get soggy. I have tried it with your recipe and it works well 😊 It is even better with preheated sauce, but I don't want to take the time to do that.
I get so happy when your videos are posted!! ☺️❤️ The baby is getting so big!! I’m not ready for him to be a big boy yet 💔 he’s so precious!! And your little “mini me” helping you in the kitchen!! She’s a woman now 💔 so precious! Tell her Mama Trina from Oregon said she’s doing a wonderful job helping her mama ❤️💕🙏🏼 Thank you for inspiring me to keep moving!! To keep pushing myself!! I’m so grateful. ❤️💕🙏🏼
Delicious! I am just imaging how tired you get. My kids are all gone, so unless I have company….I cook for myself. It’s not near as fun as having your children around. More relaxing, maybe…..but children give you motivation to cook up some good hearty meals in these colder months.I live way out in Idaho, but would love to come and sit down for anyone of those delicious dinners.! Great video! Thanks!
Love the ideas you shared with us! Also I can see that the baby socks did not last long with Theo at all, but like you said before you don't typically do them and tried them again with him, he's getting so big so quicky!
Please don’t be quick to edit out the crying kids- It DEFINITELY brought a smile to my face.. yes! This goes on in her house too!! It’s REAL life. My kids think your home is absolutely perfect. A world of pure peace and tranquillity (and they often ask to go to Lisa’s house) since their mom has them do hw and chores) 😑 long story short. Thanks for the snippet of reality 👍🏼 Ps. Gorgeous green dress And you are SO limiting yourself with not having more seafood!! It’s SO good 🤤
I love watching you cook with your girls. My sister and I loved cooking with our mother who we lost to cancer when we were teens (with 5 brothers!!) Same story here. I lost my mom when I was 23 and love seeing what others are cooking from scratch ❤️
That little baby of yours is sooo cute with his little face sticking out and looking very content
So cute seeing Theo’s little eye peeking out!
Right !!!
Your daughter with braids in her hair and 1970's style dress took me back to my youth. She looked so cute! I love your special cream color pan. I know you save it for special use.

Hi, love all the videos but especially when u include the baby and the other kids. Sweet family :) Blessings
Johanna had a beautiful retro look with her dress and braids. Made me smile. And that brisket! Yum!!
Ruthie is such a good helper! Love your recipes and look forward to seeing you cook on your vlog.
I feel like we see Johanna in the kitchen helping more. But I do like watching both the girls in the kitchen. Theyre going to become good wives and mama's someday too.
I love seeing the baby. Usually he is all tucked in
I was happy to see him too. Hes like a little turtle peaking his head out.
I’ve been following you since the last 3 births and I just melt every time I see your littles against you in the wraps. So precious! I love these meal videos as well.

good point, shrimp cooks so quickly
I absolutely love your channel. My sourdough starter is well over a year old and I’ve shared it with so many friends. I learned all about it from your videos. I have also been inspired to start my own podcast- The Comanche Farmgirl. Thank you so much for being such a huge inspiration ❤️
I'm so happy to see you wearing your baby while cooking!! That dark green wrap you used is beautiful!!
I Love it too. What brand is it?
You’re such a sweet momma.
thanks!
You had me at pot-pie ❤️. Your food always looks so delicious and your children are precious! Take care and God bless this sweet family!

By the way, your daughter is a beauty, and an amazing helper!
I didn't even get the last recipe.. I was watching your beautiful baby look at the camera. 🥰 Thank you for sharing.

Talk about the ultimate multitasker!! Cooking with a baby wrapped up around you. Amazing.
Oh my goodness the baby is growing so fast ❤️
Wow the snow is beautiful.
Oh sweet baby, watching the camera. Wish I had had something like this to carry my babies around when they were small.❤
I prefer wearing structured carriers, but man, that green wrap really makes me want to get into woven wraps. 😍 I also greatly appreciate the inclusion of the little scene during which your little boy is screaming. Reminded me that my kids are, in fact, normal!
Yes! I want that gorgeous green wrap too! Lisa where is it from? 😍
Lisa, you gave me Lots of Inspiration!!! 🤗 I Made my own Sourdough Starter and now I can make my own Bread, which is wonderful! And the Taste ist like nothing I,ve ever tasted... I love watching you make such delicious and nutritious meals all while wearing you baby. I think to myself in hard moments “it can be done”.
Love seeing that little newby so close to you.....and I'm sure he loves being there, too!
Love your home!!! I'm also a mom of seven children, but they are all grown up and on their own pretty much. Last two in college.
