  • This was the biggest project ive ever taken on, buying a shell and fully building a drift car from scratch.. were coming to the end of the build, we are SO close to the car driving. But the drama is NOT over, a lot of these jobs I have to do I have never done before, so its full of learning but its also full of making mistakes and leaning the hard way LOL
    thanks for watching!

    10:57 @Lee _Lockwood RADIATOR: once the cars on its wheels and suspension is weighted up… that radiator is gonna be awfully close to the ground‽

    I'd have left the protective film on the plastic windows until the car is out of the workshop 😅

    When fitting plastic windows you prime the edges with black plastic primer which puts that black line round what an oem glass window has round the edges. Hides the sealant

    Couldn’t you have drilled the nipple out and re tapped the hole??😊😊😊😊

    • @itsleelockwood
      @itsleelockwood  5 місяців тому

      There’s a seat at the bottom of the nipple, if I drill through it it would have just leaked

    • @barricadeish
      @barricadeish 5 місяців тому +1

      If you drill down enough so you can break out or pick out the threads the bottom end of the nipple would fall out.
      On reflection given your luck it’s better to get a new calliper and get that motor drifting Boi !!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    "Only sealed the top and side" that's going to flap in the wind like a good'un! for the sake of a few £ of sealant, definitely do it all the way round.

    Still watching… tip I’ve found with tiger seal, apply it, leave it for 45 minutes to an hour to let it go off a bit and go tacky and less messy, then push what ever you want to stick to it, on and it’ll hold alot better
