I'm here as a testimony that by the grace of God you can and will recover from PCS. I swung my head harshly into a sharp edge of a table in 2012. I felt whiplash movement. The onset of my PCS came on about 5-6 days later... Like a delayed reaction. Every symptom you can think of, i had it. EVERY ONE. Full recovery was about 2 years more or less (it wasn't at its worst the whole entire time.) My remaining symptoms are eye floaters and light sensitivity... Otherwise I am NORMAL. One day at a time by the grace of God, call onto him and acknowledge him and be grateful... He will heal you ❤️🙏

I have some kind of behavior disorder after my fall.I spit in someones face once .sometimes it's as if im not the only one in my body.I tell myself I'm not going to but the other personality does it anyway if that makes sense.I had bought lottery tickets and my mouth blurted out I won even though I didn't etc... Just strange things have been happening and some things that got me in a lot of trouble. Pretty much I ended up an unwilling participant. Started having fainting spells and episodes where I just fall over with loss of motor function ,loss of pain sensors and impaired vision.Ive had such violent dizzy spells that I was on my hands and knees trying to keep from falling on my face. But I've sustained a lot of blows to my head and even spent twelve days deaf after an explosion almost took my head off.also hit in the temple with a drill and baseball bat.I fell and bounced my brain back and forth inside my skull hit my forehead 4 times. Yet my family just expects me to be ok like nothing ever happened. I'm not ok and haven't been for years but everyone keeps trying to force me. Have any idea what this disorder might be??

So sorry. I had migraines without a concussion. It's good more people are becoming more aware. If a person never had a migraine, it's not like just a bad headache. Likewise brain injuries, sometimes its not always visible to the outside world. You have to do whatever is best for you and if people don't understand, to help them be more aware. A lot of people just don't know about how concussions or brain injures affect people until it happens to them or someone they know. I bet a lot of people are walking around with brain injuries from mild concussions that were undiagnosed or were never treated.

I wanted to share that I recently experienced a concussion two days ago, and unfortunately, it has occurred again in the same right side. I'm wondering, would a sudden sideways motorbike collision with a cycle at a speed of 30 km/hr., causing a forceful movement of my torso to lurch and my head in relative (lateral flexion) in the same area of the first concussion ,can it potentially cause some DAI and possibly axotomy to the previously concussed neurons ? very worried since i am difficulty speaking like finding right words and articulating fluently and even slight difficulty understanding words and its been 1 month no recovery? i initially have no symptoms after the incidence like nausea or dizziness , does it cause any permanent deficits or it is just temporary ? and Does this injury lead to the diminution of a handful of neurons?

I got in an accident totaled my car and unknowingly got a concussion later that evening I had borrowed my mom's car and according to the doctor I must of blacked out or something like that witch caused the 2nd accident and totaled her car took the airbag full force to the face I don't even remember calling 911 anyway, I guess I injured my brain twice in under 12 hours. I know I'm lucky to be alive but, how is it that I could have PCS when it's been only about 2 days ago. Had 2 Ct scan ekg x-rays ect. and as the doctor put it "everything looks reassuring" I have almost all the symptoms.. the hardest is trying to express myself and processing information it take a little longer for me to do that now..oh,I do anger easier because I get so frustrated in myself I'm trying to understand what it that is wrong with me but, I'm having a difficulties in it.
