    I've had this vintage Bugeye for a while now and It was time to do a restoration on this old Hot Wheels. New wheels and a spectra flame paint job really made this car decent looking again. I hope you like it.

    Mix your rubbing compound in a small squirt bottle with a little water until you get the thick soupy product you like...Maybe you can use your coffee cream whipper to do the job :) I have worked with compounds for 20 years...make the product you need for the job :)

    Die cast, you up for some experimentation? If you can pick up a small amount of all metal body filler and you use it on a very pitted area, then you re plate it with zinc, it should hold and give you that ultra smooth finish on those translucent paint jobs. It might be worth a try. Love the sound effects.

    • @DiecastResurrection

      Would you be able to link me a product? I'm down for anything that makes the cars look better.

    • @Cryptoman_5000
      @Cryptoman_5000 5 років тому +1

      @@DiecastResurrection , I'm sure you can find it locally, it's an aluminum auto body filler for cars. I don't know how small of quantities they offer so maybe you would try it on a handful depending what the measurements are of the activator, they also make a zinc primer both you could google and type in USC all metal body filler. I think it could definitely make those translucent paint jobs look top notch if it covers all the blemishes on the metal before painting. It might be worth a shot if you get a high$ redline.

    I wish i could do a restoration of one, like, full and legit 100% original parts.
    No drilled posts, no replaces wheels.
    Everything masked off and the wheels polished and repainted manually with red and chrome paint markers.
