    Krunic has an amazing countenance, bearing and peppiness about her. With great tennis to boot, she is exactly the kind of player I love to watch.

    I knew Krunic when i see her beat Kimiko Date in first round Japan Open last year in last Date's performance before retire. I see Krunic so respect with Date, and I think this girl have humble heart even she doesnt see it to us. So im so glad see she win today in Hertogenbosch. Go girl....

    The sweetest woman in tennis with the most beautiful game wins her 1st title. For a few minutes at least.... all is right with the world. :)

    Krunic should get double 'Shot of the Month' award. How did she pull off two of those crazy diving shots in back to back matches?

    so refreshing .. like watching a retro match... no deafening grunts n no just brainless boomboom.. loved it

      Utsab Das So you're saying hitting the ball going 100 miles per hour with angle and precision is brainless but hitting the ball going 50 miles per hour is genius?? That's funny.

    I think Halep's win inspired a lot of smaller players like Krunic. Krunic's speed and variety reminds me of of an in-form Aga. However, unlike Aga, I hope she can improve on her serve.

    Krunic is an amazing player, esp. given her size! Even the kids who walk out on the court with her are taller than she is!!!

      Couldn't agree more. I don't watch many clay tourneys but I watch all the grass.

    Late bloomer? On another note, that's gotta be the slowest and bounciest of grass courts 😕

    • @sportsmediaamerica
      @sportsmediaamerica 6 років тому +1

      she is 25, so not totally late. She had a good US Open about 4 years ago and surprised some people.

      rachray83 they're barely hitting the ball of course it looks slow. Loopy spinning shots, slices, drop shots and lobs. This match was like a mirrored image of women's tennis in the past.
