Please respond! I'm trying to do flat twists, idk the size but flat twisting is the one. Which one would be better for parting? Four straight cornrows and then divide them ( 6:20 ) OR straight back cornrows parting in general ( 15:35 ) My hair is thick af too.

I had this struggle when doing parts over each other, I wanted to do bantu knots or basically any part where lines go over each other, but it's hard when you have some hair tied out if the way needed to be in the part so I take out the tie, then the first part gets lost

For uneven numbers you’d need to have a cornrow right in the middle of your head. I’ll make a video on it ☺️
