The chaos effect raptor may be one of my favorite dinosaurs from the JP Chaos effect toyline when it comes to the color. I love that mix of black, dark blue, light blue and light green. That dinosaur served as a bit of inspiration for my own originally created, theropod dinosaur (Insomnevenator aka the Sleepless hunter).

How I hate the translucent colors; they take FOREVER to build up. A trick I picked up, especially when working with a darker color, is to first go over the area with white (a beige or a thicker yellow (like marigold or pastel) will work to- you'll spend less time trying to build up the yellow layer this way.
Please could you do some "Transformers" styled repaints? Beast Wars Megatron or Dinobot would be great, as would Terrorsaur, Beast Wars Grimlock, or even the original G1 Dinobots painted as living dinosaurs!
Awesome Btw have you thought of doin genetically modified dinosaurs ( like a pyroraptor with penguin like colours and wings or triceratops with gazelle like colours and horns ? )
Army painter is better than craft paint but worse in coverage and consistency if not shaken like mad and even then its bad. I wouldn't recommend Citadel either cause its pricy, the colors are not named properly and most importantly their pots are easy to knock over or paint dry in them. Ofc all miniature painting brands will do the job and that's just my opinion - Vallejo/Scale75/Kimera/P3. "Zumikito miniatures" has a nice vid about mini painting brands.
