    Love this flower! Mine usually gets powdery mildew though...

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  Рік тому

      Yes, I've experienced that too. Preventing is the best, try spraying neem oil mix, or use sulfur fungicide at early stages. Hope you will have better results in future and thank you for your comment!

    Great video!
    Do you fertilize once they develop their first set of true leaves in the seedling tray?

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  8 місяців тому +1

      I start when they have 2-3 sets of true leaves, or whenever you notice seedling are struggling to grow. you can check my latest video on how to water seedlings for more details ua-cam.com/video/AIeiB31yEJw/v-deo.html . Thank you very much for your comment!

    Hey, can you share the ratio of your peat, compost, perlite soil mix? Your soil looks so fluffy and nice. Thanks.

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  8 місяців тому

      Hi, I am planning to post a video on how to make your potting mix, but in the meantime you can have equal parts of each 1-1-1, or double the compost and peat moss 2-2-1. Hope this helps and thank you so much for your comment!

      If they are thriving you don't need to do anything. Just keep them watered and avoid fertilizing too much. happy growing and thank you for visiting.

    Beautiful edible flowers. Those plastic containers need drill holes. What is the drill bit size and how many?

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  8 місяців тому

      Same 1/2 drill bits, about 8-10 holes. Thank you very much for your comment!

      If it is not too hot, and you are not expecting to be too hot in few weeks, then yes you can start them now. They may not flower to their best of it gets hot. Happy growing and thank you for your comment!

    Is this perinnal flower?? Please let us know your email address?

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  Рік тому

      Calendula is normally grown as an annual. Plants will die off in a hard frost.
      I use my email address mainly for business inquiries and it is included in my channel description. For questions, the comment sections is the best to reach out. Thank you for visiting!
