Cosy sweater makeup.... Love this and love your eye makeup, gorgeous colours. I'm delighted that there are still ladies who love to look polished even when staying at home all day. I'm a full face girl regardless of where I'm going. I live in the middle of the beautiful Co Armagh countryside and today I went all out on my makeup, complete with glitter on my lids....my children are at their father's for the weekend, so I did my housework in my sparkly makeup and I showed my look off to Billy Bob, our pet goat, to Mr Frostie, our rooster and to his 5 hens..... Personally I believe it helps with our mental health, especially at the moment, especially as we are entering into a 6 week long strict lockdown here in Northern Ireland. To take care of oneself, to take pride in oneself, to wear one's makeup and to wear nice clothes (lol no holey tracksuit bottoms, no once white but now grey t-shirt, no stained clothing).... Take pride in your appearance, even when you are the only person who sees you that day, or it might be most of the time it's only you, looking good will have you feeling good. Look after yourselves xx
Thank you so much for that wonderful encouragement!♥️ We are so much alike...I love that you don't think twice either about putting on glitter to do housework! I do that too and show it off to my dog, Bojo😘 I have a feeling our state is right behind you all in the strict lockdown....more important than ever to look after our mental health! Blessings to you, sweet lady!
Lo Chambers I have to totally agree...Sharalee knows this about me already..but I’ve always for over 50yrs worn at least mascara & now I have the tremors so it’s not so easy....BUT I still do it!! Bc even if it ends up on the top of my eyelid!!! Lol lol I believe it helps with my mental happiness..I still love makeup & I love watching Sharalee do her makeup...I have been by myself for over 30yrs & as I said I still do my bit of makeup for myself...my dearest Gf has always said to me she just can’t go out until she has her face on...lol. Lol..I lived & owned a property at Blackwater Co Wexford over 40yrs ago!!! But am originally from here Australia...Blessings Marc. Xx
I totally agree with you! I am a full face makeup kind of lady too, even on Saturday’s. I enjoy “putting on my face” each day and I always take my time doing it because I am a bit of a perfectionist. Lol I have gone without it while we have been camping this summer, but it is a real challenge for me to leave it off. I feel so washed out and unkempt without it on. Sharalee inspires me each time I watch a new video! Glad to know there are others who believe in looking their best each day even if you are staying home!
Love this look, I wear full makeup each day except Sundays my stay at home, face pack and hair mask day. It helps my busy week. Your make up tips are amazing and very helpful to add to your own make up routine. I love the colours and the idea of adding little shimmer in each corner of the eyes. Thank you
This is such a pretty look! Nothing too crazy like you said. I absolutely love it!!! Not too many products and would be very easy to do. Also, loved your background music. Thank you so much for sharing. Take care, my sweet friend!!!
Your looks are always beautiful. Being a Cosmetologist and makeup lover it just makes you feel good when you have makeup on. You always do a good job at putting colors together.
Love this look! I always do my hair and makeup every day whether I'm going somewhere or staying home all day. I just feel better and more put together...and I can go out unexpectedly if I need to. Great video! ❤
Love the eye look. Glad you did this video. Even though I'm not going anywhere and live alone. I started to put on makeup because it makes me happy. ☺ Have a wonderful Sunday! 🎄🔔☃️
Oh Sharalee I loved the video. You encouraged me to wear my pretty lipsticks when staying at home I will feel more put together you make applying makeup eyes cheeks and lips fun. Anxious to hear your Sunday Solo 😍
Thank you! I think the take away here is to do what makes you feel pretty/good... Some of us what the same look as Sharalee, others may want more, others less. Please keep the videos coming!!!
I’m just watching on Sunday and was going to have a lazy day at home, but you have just inspired me to go put some makeup on! Beautiful look Sharalee!! ❤️ PS I loved the Carol of the Bells piano 🎹 solo! That’s one of my favs too!
Looks beautiful!! These are definitely my go to color shades. That’s a good tip to wear my lip glosses at home! I’ve got some time off for Christmas so I might as well use some up!
Thank you!! Yes!! Slather on that lip gloss and use it up while you can!! Once mask wearing days end, I think the lipstick and gloss companies are going to be overrun with new orders🥰
You are absolutely amazing and gifted in soooo many ways!!! Thank You, for sharing all your beautiful gifts and knowledge, with all of us. Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! 😇 Absolutely LOVE all your Sunday Songs!!!!! Marvelous Lady, You Are!!!!! Thank You, from the bottom of my heart!! Wishing many Wonderful and Beautiful Blessings to you and your family. The utmost very best, always. 🎄
I loved when you were putting your foundation on and said i think i got a little to much here. All i could think was how are you going to get that all blended in . Lol but you sure did and it looked amazing. ❤
Hey Sharalee!! Such a pretty, put together look. And I am with you... it is still fun to put on some lip colour at home because there is no point in wearing it out under masks. Beautiful as always my friend!!
Sure!! I will try to do a video on them in a few weeks but in the meantime, there's a few I'd recommend checking out: Catrice Dewy Glow Finish Spray - I used this in the makeover I did on Charlene and it worked great! MAC Fix+ has been very popular for many years as it is alcohol free and has glycerin in it so it adds a bit of moisture to the skin as well😊
Your swan lake background music I kept thinking you were going to pop up and start spinning and going to point. You are so pretty and I ways enjoy and learn something thank you
This was great, Sharalee, some good ideas of where to cut corners and you look as lovely as usual. I’ve been enjoying experimenting with my make-up on the days I’m not going out. It’s a lot more low risk than my usual approach of trying something radically different before a night out - an approach I’ve often regretted 😳🤣
Oh my goodness, I have done that more often than I care to recount!🤣😘 It’s kind of like trying a new recipe when you have guests over for dinner!😳 Keep having fun with your makeup!💕
I just put on moisturizer, some Bare Minerals foundation, Bare Minerals blush, eyebrow pencil, lip gloss, curl my lashes and put on mascara and that's it! At 68 years of age, less is more!
Oh, this was soooo WONDERFUL!! I am in my usual spot, curled up in bed, watching your tutorials and Sunday Songs! The music was GLORIOUS, just beautiful!! I love this stay at home look. I struggle sometimes with how much make up do I want to put on, but this is so nice and this look is so soft and healthy looking! I can't remember, are those lip glosses plumping formula?? I would really like to try some. I have tried one before, but I felt like it was stinking my lips! And even though you thought you used too much foundation, it really covered nicely! I realized that I am not using enough and that is why I am frustrated about the lack of coverage. I use the ITS foundation....I like it a lot. Now I'm off to watch your other tutorial! Hope you are all ready for Christmas!... Thanks again my friend for all the great tips!
Yay!! SO happy you enjoyed this and picked up some useful tips! Yes, the Buxom glosses do have the peppermint plumping quality....I personally don't feel like they hurt at all but if you're super sensitive, they might be a bit much for you😘 The City Beauty Plumping Gloss doesn't have any of that feeling at all so I think that's one thing that makes theirs unique. Definitely try adding just a little more of the IT foundation and see if that does the trick! Hope you are all ready to celebrate Christmas tomorrow!🎄♥️🥰
Another beautiful look with my pinks and plums! This is perfect for a stay-at-home look! Alway enjoy you GRWM videos! Thanks so much! Not sure if you’ll be doing more videos before Christmas or not, so if not I want to wish and your husband a very Merry Christmas! May the presence of the Lord fill your hearts with joy and the expectation of His soon return! ✝️💟🛐
Oh, thank you so much for your kind compliments and wonderful words of blessing! This year, more than any before, has made me LONG for the return of our Lord! Hope you and yours have a very blessed Christmas too, sweet friend!♥️🎄
Suggestion for a video: explain how the different brushes work, ie a large brush will pick up lots of product and diffuse it as you apply (I have no idea if that’s correct-I made it up) I want to know what kind of brush to use to create the look I want. Also, I love GRWM videos. This was great!
Glad you enjoyed this and great idea for a future video! In my very first brush video, I do talk about "brush functions" a little more....I'll link it here and hopefully it will help until I have a chance to film a new one😘 ua-cam.com/video/OUpZk8n85Zk/v-deo.html
You are in luck! I did a video about a year and a half ago with a tutorial and all the info...I'll link it here😘 ua-cam.com/video/uNI7nYeehhU/v-deo.html
Building the lash line/depth first isn’t something I normally do...but looks like it might be helpful when trying to achieve a faster routine. I love the customization of Natasha Denona palettes, I’m now inspired to rearrange ...:)
Yes!! I think the lash line trick does help shave time off! So happy you've been inspired to rearrange some of your shadows too♥️😘 Just a tip....if you want to keep track of where they came from, write the palette and shadow name on the bottom of the shadow with a sharpie.
Hi Sharalee, fun to watch. For quick and simple I like to use the It Cosmetic “book” that has everything except brushes and foundation. Before going, I want to thank you for performing “Carol of the Bells”! Lots of love, Sharon 💜xo
Oh, I'm SO happy you enjoyed Carol of the Bells! That is a long-standing favorite of mine😘 It's so funny you mention the It Girl Beauty Book because I had planned on doing an easy look with that palette but for some reason, it didn't dawn on me to use it here....where has my brain gone?!😆 Lots of love to you too, my dear💗
Yep, I haven't worn foundation regularly since February! Eyes only for the most part. Loved Carol of the Bells! Don't be surprised if someone choreographs their Christmas lights to your arrangement.;)
Hi Sharalee. This is not related to this video, but could you talk about the differences between the light & dark Enduring Love palettes by Sydney Grace? Thanks in advance!
Oooo, good question! I haven't ordered the "dark" Enduring Love palette....yet😘 But you might be giving me a reason to do so!😂 I will definitely keep you posted if I do. In the mean time, I know Lisa J did a video showing both palettes and I'll link it here for you: ua-cam.com/video/giNtGuBQ-Jw/v-deo.html
Love your look and using less products. I discovered some new things during this year. One is I can do with less and that means make up too. My exercise is wonderful outdoors and the greatest thing is I have more awareness of gratitude. I thank the Lord everyday for a new beginning and opportunity to make a difference in more valuable, meaningful ways. Merry Christmas and thank you so much for all your videos every week. Be blessed🌲🎵🙏
Always good to be able to find the positive amidst the chaos of 2020🥰 Hope you too have a wonderful Christmas🎄 Always appreciate your faithful support, sweet lady💕
Great video!!!!!! Could you please tell if the colors are for warm or cool tones when doing eye and cheeks on all the videos? Thanks and Merry Christmas to you!!
I like this stay at home look. This month in my boxycharm I received a palette of Caliente Artist Couture. OMG the colors!!! How do you do eye shadow with yellow?
Thank you!😘 I just looked up that palette and whoa!! That IS a bright palette!! I do have a "4 looks, 1 color family" planned for yellow but it won't be coming for several weeks. So, in the mean time, one way to use yellow is to think of it as a mixing color. If you add yellow to a blue-toned pink, you'll get a nice peach shade. If you add it to a blue, you'll get a nice aqua green shade. You can also mix it with a very blue toned purple and get a nice warm berry shade🤗
Love all your looks and themes!!! As I get older I definitely understand the “less is more” affect!! It’s hard for me cause I was always a full face all the time girl but I’m trying to pare down and simplify but still get a pulled together look. Something I bit more than than a no makeup, makeup look but not a full on face of makeup. It’s a fine line that I’ve found can easily be crossed! Lol I easily get carried away while doing my makeup, its my happy place!! Great look as always Sharalee!! 🙏🏻👍🏻🎁🎅🏻❤️🐾🐶
Thank you!! Yes, it is hard to dial it back when you are a makeup lover like we are!♥️🥰 Besides, who wants to rush away from their happy place, right?!😍
Love it! My job is considered essential so I've been working the entire time, however I sometimes out makeup on over the weekend even if I'm staying in. 😉 I also have a totally unrelated question...which of your Teddy Blake bags is your favorite the Bella or the Vanessa? I'm trying to decide between those two! Thank you!
I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one wearing makeup around the house😘 Good question about the Teddy Blake bags....I just switched back to the Vanessa today and I think if I had to be pushed one way or another, I'd choose the Vanessa. It's just a little bigger and I can put the handles up on my shoulder. Also, in order for the Bella to stay closed, you really need to carry it with the handles; when using the long strap, it would often come unsnapped on the sides and make the center compartment fall wide open. Hope that helps you decide!😍
Very beautiful 🙏❤thank you for your great videos ❤ merry christmas og a blessed new year to you and yours, take care and be safe❤🌹XOXO from Mette Mai from Denmark 🇩🇰
Hmmm...good question! I'm actually preparing a video comparing all the eye primers I own because after awhile, I do start to wonder if there really is a difference!😘 But to answer your question, for me, the Milani primer makes my shadow stay better than just the MAC paint pot on it's own. I have super oily lids though so I know that's not the case for everyone. The MAC paint pots do provide a little bit of coverage that Milani doesn't but I think the Milani primer makes shadow application and blending a little easier. Hope that helps! Happy shopping🛍💗
Very pretty!! Funny, b/c of your tip I “switched” my colours as well *LOL. I “only” have 2 ND 5 pan palettes (cranberry and #8 from her 5 palettes) and made it work for me. I have 3 minis but those you can’t switch... with lips I’m torn. Outside we wear masks and wearing them inside I’ll get them “stamped” on my mugs drinking coffee 😂. But I got into Fitglow beauty and bought 5 of their lip serums which are sooo nice in the lips!! So I wear those now mostly 😁... xoxo 😘
Hi Precious Sharalee..Thanx for another great video... there is always something new to learn from You...Absolutely love watching You & I believe for me to do makeup each day brightens me up...I even wear mascara & foundation to the pool when I go... I don’t use sunscreen as for me it makes me burn! But if I wear foundation my face is saved from the sun!! I know weird....I’ve lived in the sun a lot of my life so at 66yrs old I have Now learnt makeup on the face is the way to go at the pool which I go to most days a wk....did that make sense? Lol lol lol ok Blessings & love Marc. 🇦🇺🇦🇺😘❤️😘
Hello, my sweet friend💗 I'm so happy to know I'm not the only one that feels like some makeup is a MUST everyday!😘 Sounds like your foundation has secret sun-protecting powers and I totally believe it!! Love & Blessings to you!♥️🥰
Hi Sharalee- I’m a new subscriber. I have binge watched and just love your channel. We are the same age, have a UA-cam channel for our hobby and are both pastors wives. That alone gives us a lot in common! I hope you have a blessed Christmas and find some rest from the demands on your time. It is good to refresh and renew. Merry Christmas!❤️
Welcome to my channel!!💕 It's so wonderful to know how much we have in common! I hope you have a wonderful relaxing and restful Christmas too!🎄 You are right, it's SO good to refresh and renew♥️
You are gorgeous! BUT... please do a video on an eye makup technique that doesn't include all that shading at the outer corners. Is that possible?? It might help a lot of us that don't like that particular look, or just not good at it. Use shading in some other way? Love your channel!
I saw Suzie of Ayu (cosmetics company from Ireland) use black mascara on the upper lashes and brown on the lower lashes. It’s brilliant! My lower lashes are very light so if I don’t wear anything it looks like I have no lashes (weird) and when I wear black it accentuates my dark circles. Try it - it’s great!
I'm a firm believer in mascara on the bottom! I actually think it makes your eyes look bigger😊 As Kathi mentioned, you can use a brown or black/brown mascara down there just to lighten them up a bit.
Got up, started laundry, cleaning bathroom, still jammies. Washed face, put on makeup, brushed dirty hair. Workout later and shower lol. Still in jammies!
@@seattlegirl2077 Generally, it way too much for me as well. However she looks lovely... and IMO, she definitely does NOT look older from her skillful efforts!
@@earenc As you can tell by my name, I'm from Seattle. It's probably years here since I've seen anyone in more than a little lipgloss and mascara. We just don't really do a lot of makeup up here. This would really stand out as overdone.

Oh wow! That would be AWESOME!😍 And I'll give you a pass on foundation....at least you are playing up your eye makeup😘
In the mean time, I know Lisa J did a video showing both palettes and I'll link it here for you:

Love your look and using less products. I discovered some new things during this year. One is I can do with less and that means make up too. My exercise is wonderful outdoors and the greatest thing is I have more awareness of gratitude. I thank the Lord everyday for a new beginning and opportunity to make a difference in more valuable, meaningful ways. Merry Christmas and thank you so much for all your videos every week. Be blessed🌲🎵🙏
Always good to be able to find the positive amidst the chaos of 2020🥰 Hope you too have a wonderful Christmas🎄 Always appreciate your faithful support, sweet lady💕
very beautiful makeup my friend, I love it, you are always on top and you are too beautiful without makeup too
Awww, thank you, my sweet friend♥️😍 You are a blessing!
Great video!!!!!! Could you please tell if the colors are for warm or cool tones when doing eye and cheeks on all the videos? Thanks and Merry Christmas to you!!
Thank you!! Yes, I will try to be better about including that info in future tutorials😘 Merry Christmas🎄
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates Thanks for the advice. I will try mixing it with other colors. Looking forward to your video in a few weeks using yellow.
Thank you!! Yes, it is hard to dial it back when you are a makeup lover like we are!♥️🥰 Besides, who wants to rush away from their happy place, right?!😍
A very pretty "stay at home" look.
Thank you, sweet friend! Hope you are doing well💗
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates doing well thanks. Merry Christmas and stay safe ❤
Glad to hear it! Merry Christmas!🎄
Love it! My job is considered essential so I've been working the entire time, however I sometimes out makeup on over the weekend even if I'm staying in. 😉
I also have a totally unrelated question...which of your Teddy Blake bags is your favorite the Bella or the Vanessa? I'm trying to decide between those two! Thank you!
I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one wearing makeup around the house😘 Good question about the Teddy Blake bags....I just switched back to the Vanessa today and I think if I had to be pushed one way or another, I'd choose the Vanessa. It's just a little bigger and I can put the handles up on my shoulder. Also, in order for the Bella to stay closed, you really need to carry it with the handles; when using the long strap, it would often come unsnapped on the sides and make the center compartment fall wide open. Hope that helps you decide!😍
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates it totally does help thank you! I found one on Poshmark and got it today! I love it! Getting ready to move into it!
Very beautiful 🙏❤thank you for your great videos ❤ merry christmas og a blessed new year to you and yours, take care and be safe❤🌹XOXO from Mette Mai from Denmark 🇩🇰
Thanks so much!!🥰♥️ I truly appreciate you watching! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year too!🎄🎊🌟
It cosmetics CC is all I ever use. Being older, I don’t like heavy makeup and this product works well for me.
So glad that works well for you too! It also has such wonderful, skin-loving ingredients🤗
Your so pretty.
Do you think the Milano eye primer is better then Mac paint pots cause tomorrow I’m going out to get a primer. Appreciate you doing this for us
Hmmm...good question!
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates Thanks so much. I’ll try the Milani and save some money.
I like to wear makeup for me, it makes me feel better. It doesn't matter if I am at home or going out, lipstick helps!
Totally agree!!♥️🥰
Very pretty!! Funny, b/c of your tip I “switched” my colours as well *LOL. I “only” have 2 ND 5 pan palettes (cranberry and #8 from her 5 palettes) and made it work for me. I have 3 minis but those you can’t switch... with lips I’m torn. Outside we wear masks and wearing them inside I’ll get them “stamped” on my mugs drinking coffee 😂. But I got into Fitglow beauty and bought 5 of their lip serums which are sooo nice in the lips!! So I wear those now mostly 😁... xoxo 😘
Oh isn’t it fun to switch your colors around and make your own palette?! I’ve never even heard of Fitglow Beauty....I think I must check it out!😘💕
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates You should. It's very pretty and I found it through Clean Beauty by Mandy Davis :)
Sure! I’d be happy to work up some difference lighter looks for you😘
Hey! ♥️♥️♥️
I’ve heard that putting mascara on the lower lashes make the eyes look smaller. Have you heard that and what are your thoughts?
I saw Suzie of Ayu (cosmetics company from Ireland) use black mascara on the upper lashes and brown on the lower lashes. It’s brilliant! My lower lashes are very light so if I don’t wear anything it looks like I have no lashes (weird) and when I wear black it accentuates my dark circles. Try it - it’s great!
@@kathipoplar7024 agree. Nothing on the bottom lashes looks like you forgot lol
Hey, I am impressed!! Bet you never looked better in your jammies🥰 Keep up the good work, sweet lady💖
Always looks so pretty but I feel like the look is always basically the same....a lot for staying at home.
My look is always the same except for the color might vary, just have to do what works best for your eye shape♥️
Ha ha when I am just staying home, I am lucky to get out of my comfy clothes much less put on makeup!
Heehee😂
Way too much for me
And she looks older too by the time she's done.
@@seattlegirl2077 Generally, it way too much for me as well. However she looks lovely... and IMO, she definitely does NOT look older from her skillful efforts!
@@seattlegirl2077 are you kidding me?! She looks stunning!!
@@earenc I think she'd be even more attractive with a little less. All I see is makeup and not her lovely features with all that on.
@@earenc As you can tell by my name, I'm from Seattle. It's probably years here since I've seen anyone in more than a little lipgloss and mascara. We just don't really do a lot of makeup up here. This would really stand out as overdone.
