Hey Tim, I just wanted to say thanks for all your Storyline tutorials here. I recently started learning Storyline from scratch, and out of all the tutorials out there, I find your content the easiest to follow. Plus, the way you present and talk about stuff is super engaging, relatable, and fun to watch. So, thanks again!

Thanks so much for this - so helpful! I had two questions: 1) Is there a way to integrate Google Analytics to be able track visitors to a course? and 2) Is there a unique URL for each lesson when navigating through should you wish to provide a tailored link to someone? (Someone at Articulate said the URL should be different for each lesson once it's published to the web so I wondered if that's so in this environment.) Thanks again!
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I'm sure there is a way, but I have yet to try and connect Google Analytics. And regarding your second question, I suppose it depends on what you my by "lesson." Are you referring to separate Storyline courses OR slides within a single Storyline course?
Tim :) Thank you so much for taking the time to create this video, it was sooooooo helpful :). Love your humor and the style of your down-to-earth practical teaching! Keep them coming!
This is great! It was super easy to follow along, and I was able to get it to work the first time through. And, it was a lot easier than using AWS. Super helpful, thanks Tim!
Exactly what I needed. I've created Storyline courses (well, one so far) that customers will access through Kartra. This allows me to control access using Kartra so I don't have to purchase and administer an entire additional LMS. THANK YOU! As others have said, your video delivery and overall feel is top notch. Very well done.
Thankyou massively! I wanted to share an interactive experience I had created in Storyline on my portfolio and didn't have a scooby how to do it. This was so so helpful.

Thanks for watching! When you say "hide the menu," are you talking about the built-in player menu in Articulate Storyline...or perhaps something else. Let me know!
This is awesome, thx for the video. Way better than hosting these files on Drive. Question: Every time I re-visit my webpage, if the Storyline file has already played once, it displays the last screen and not from the beginning. Any way to always restart the Storyline file from the beginning? 🤗
Great question...this you adjust those settings within the Player settings of Storyline. Here's how: community.articulate.com/articles/articulate-storyline-360-user-guide-how-to-change-the-resume-behavior
Around one and half years ago, upon the advice of a friend, I got into Google cloud to save a few of my sample storyline courses I created for tests at a few companies. 😂 As soon as it asked for my Credit card information, I got scared. I know LinkedIn learning also asks the same. But that day I just could not gather courage to do so! 😅
I totally understand! I'm usually very nervous about entering credit cards...but Google is very secure. With that said, if you have an Articulate 360 license, another option (which is actually simpler) is to host your projects on Rise 360. Here's a video on how to do that: ua-cam.com/video/SvdA55-6jUQ/v-deo.html
Thank you for the great video! Do you know if there is a way to use this for Rise modules as well? I exported one for the web and uploaded to Cloud, but the folder contents have different names than Storyline and I can't find which part is the shareable part...
This was a GREAT help! Just to clarify...if I created a course in Rise 360 trial and upload it following these steps, it will still be accessible after my trial expires. Correct??
@@elearningacdmy Thanks for this and it worked great the first two times. But...now I'm trying to follow the same steps and every time I go to upload the folder, it's uploading all of the indiviual files (97 in my case) separately to my 'bucket' and then the 'index' URL doesn't actually work. Any tips?
I am in awe of your God-like abilities with this technology. I can't imagine how you figured out how to do this but thank you for creating this easy-peasy how-to guide. Until recently (just last Monday), I was a teacher. This would have been my 33rd year on the job. On Monday a high school student threw a sneaker at my head. He missed. Another student threw a water bottle. She missed and shattered the clock on the classroom wall. Both students thought this was amusing. I filled out a discipline referral and alleged attempted assault. My building admin told me that this wasn't assault and suggested that I either step up my class management or quit. I chose to quit. I don't have a large pension and have been trying to figure out what to do with myself. Since I have a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, know how to Adobe illustrator, Cyberlink PowerDirector, and Articulate 360, I thought about becoming an instructional designer but needed help with figuring out how to host an Articulate lesson. This video was exactly what I needed. So thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Everything worked perfectly except upload a folder. The system doesn't see a folder. I tried uploading this as a file but since it's in a folder, it isn't accessible. Do you have any tips?
This literally popped in my inbox at exactly the right minute!! Do you know if you can get any access data from this? e.g. how many people have viewed (accessed) the eL file in Google cloud?
Thanks! I'm so happy to hear it! Regarding tracking number of views, I'm sure there's a way...I just haven't figured that out yet. It's something I'm currently researching.
