eLearning branching scenarios are a great way to let your learners practice their critical thinking and decision-making skills. A well-design branching scenario allows your learners to face real-world situations, make decisions, and see the outcomes in an engaging and safe way. But getting started with planning and designing a branching scenario can be overwhelming.
And so, in this How-To Workshop, I'll walk you through how to plan, outline, and design a branching scenario for your next eLearning project. We'll explore the anatomy of a branching scenario, tips for storyboarding your branching scenario, and how to control the complexity and scope of your branching scenario. We'll also look at various examples of branching scenarios from my real-world client projects.

I also loved the GoDaddy example! I'm curious as to where the graphics for that example came from.... I loved the style of the coffee mug and telephone. Thanks for posting your videos!

Thanks for the great video Tim! May I ask: What kind of platform / software would you use to create branching scenarios that track learner decisions and enable them to receive points and visualize their learning progression? Thank you so much!

    Hi!
Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s really helpful and exciting)
Could you tell me please what program you use to create this courses? With pop ups and check ups. It looks great! I have just started learning instructional design deeply and unfortunately don’t know many programs and tools. I understand that I can use power point for that, but I am sure there is something more suitable 😊
Thank you in advance for your answer

Thanks for watching. You can do this with a number of different tools, but my preference is Articulate Storyline. Here's an example of how to develop a branching scenario in Storyline: ua-cam.com/video/LojlRBHpEyE/v-deo.html
