Some of the references I didn't get were specific foods, as mentioned in The Movers bit, but I got the gist.

If you haven't found this already, I highly highly recommend the series 'Nippers' which he co-wrote and you can find on youtube. He's not in it but his niche and manic comedy is all over it. I had watched this ages ago when it originally came out (recommended by aunty Donna) but I had not seen his stand up or his acting. So taskmaster was the first time I'd seen him but now that I'm starting to delve into his work, I've realised taskmaster is technically not my first exposure to him.

This guys got an element of James Acaster, but really is his own comic, great set.
He's like a weird Aussie mix of James Acaster and Norm Macdonald
With a smidge of Stewart Lee thrown in. Those 3 are my all time favourites and Sam has joined the tier after watching this special on a whim

This came up on my UA-cam recommended around 1 month ago. Since then I’ve watched most of his other work and been to see his latest special live. Absolutely incredible comedian and my new favourite.
