The Amazing Spider-Man Epic Collection Big Apple Battleground is a great choice to have in my bookshelf of Epic Collections. Same goes for the Thor Modern Era Epic Collection which sums Thor by J. Michael Straczynski and I haven't forgotten about Amazing Spider-Man Epic Collection: Return of the Sinister Six.

doesn't he fact this is the first Modern Epic for Thor mean that the classic Epics are gonna catch up to Ragnarok? idk if we have classic epics that go that far in the 2000s

Yeah, there are a few classic lines that have reached the 2000s. Wolverine, Thunderbolts, Hawkeye, Carnage and She-Hulk. And it looks like most of the lines will now go through the Heroes Return era in the early 2000s.
