Thanks for the help. What worked on my 2019 American standard version was similar- pushing the trip reset button while off and While still pushing button turn on and after reset question comes up release reset button and push it again

Hold the 0.0/set button and dont leave your finger, and turn on the engine simultaneously, thbe it will pop out.
