- The purpose of this video is to provide information regarding resetting the service reminder in my 2010 Volkswagen Jetta. This indicator light is meant to help remind you when service is due - however if you dont know how to reset it after service is performed - there's really no point. I hope this helps!

Nice and easy. I just subbed my two “stalk” buttons in my 12 Turbo Beetle for your left and right dash buttons, and it worked like a charm!

Thank for the video it helped out a great deal. Quick question, should you go to 10,000 between oil changes like the dealer states or is it better to stay around 5,000 miles. Used vw oil 5-40.
I'm sure 10,000 is fine - but I always do 5,000 miles just to be safe. Most likely over-kill but its realitively inexpensive to change oil.
Does this restart the oil change countdown? (Mine countdown from 10,000)
Hey, I’ve been searching for this and I can’t find an answer. If you cycle through the instrument cluster with the buttons on the dash a second screen will pop up with different numbers on it. Do you know what they mean? I bought a 2010 Jetta and it didn’t come with an owners manual

Hold 0.0/set, turn car to auxiliary mode without fully turning on engine. Turn back off. Hit the left button opposite of 0.0 set. Dude talks a lot about his life.
