Let's read a history of the Ottoman Empire, which welcomed Jews, many of whom escaped from the Spanish Inquisition and took refuge in the Ottoman Empire 500 years ago. The understanding of Turkish citizenship reflects the understanding of nation-state citizenship built on the multinational and multi-religious structure of the Ottoman Empire. Based on this definition, Turkish existence represents cooperation and national identity, and has been the cradle of civilization for thousands of years by blending ethnic and religious differences within the concepts of citizenship. It emphasizes the cultural richness and unity of Anatolia. Western states have been trying to destroy us for about 100-150 years, but they have never succeeded.
