It's funny my honozygous boy that has no paint DNA, got a few of those white spots, and her half Arabian and have old so I looked bakc on the Oldenburg sire and he had birdcatcher in him, lol.
#askthevetvideo My question...horses who have a bowed front leg, health/lameness issues? Can it straighten out some while the horse is still maturing? (I know theyll never be 100% normal). What's the outcome of life for a horse with a bowed front leg? Light riding or a pasture ornament? Are there exercises/chiropractic/massage therapy to help with the limb? I found a horse i like who is 3 yrs old. The owners have broke her to ride and I've seen videos of her walking, trotting and cantering while under saddle...trained beautifully. But i am concerned about her leg. Without a vet check at the moment, what can i expect from horses who have this issue? Each side of the spectrum (positive- light riding normal trails-negative-never be ridden again). I do have a picture of the front legs i could send so you can see what i am asking about.
My chestnut Shetland pony (aged 2) has them

Could it possibly be a harmless fungal infection like tinea versicolor in people where the fungus is removing the pigmentation?
Can a grey horse have birdcatcher spots?
My fjordhorse had these! Never found out what they were 😂
