I believe you actually turned the parallel off at around 10:30. Seems like the graphical design is trying to mimic the hardware switches being pressed in. I have the hardware, and I guess that's an accurate visual representation if you have an above light source, but that makes it counter-intuitive in plug-in form since "on" gets darker! Pretty silly. By the way, I first learned about the Neve 2254 from your video on the Waves Vcomp way back. I was so obsessed with it that I bought the Successor hardware when it hit the market. Kind of a full circle moment here.
This is not really a 33609, to be fair. They actually do sell a 609 clone in hardware form, but this isnt it. Its class A/B, has two transformers per channel, and its very aggressive. Its kind of like a very modern fast aggressive take on a 2254
