21:01 Rory and Mal … hit the like button 😂
😂😂😂 nore ass is drunk
Thank you since apparently they don’t do time stamps
Rury and Mal in my DJ Akd voice are douche bags 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
they really didn't do their research about that topic
This is exactly what I was looking for thanks lol
“What’s up with you & Charlemagne”
“Nothing we just hate each other” 🤣🤣🤣😂 I love Joe
Time stamp?
Realest shit I ever heard 😂😂😂
Was that part edited
I must've missed that
@@ProfessorRyder 10:01
Joe watching nore do bad podcasting and loving it is hilarious 🤣
That transition to Rory & Mal was fkn wild 😂😂😂
that was willddddd haha. We was waiting for the question but didnt expect THAT haha.
I'm old enough to remember how unique it was for Joe to rap about his feelings, and mental health. Now everybody does that shit.
I mean niggas been doing that. Even biggie has a song from the 90s called suicidal thoughts
Eminem did that but hes looked at as corny. I like ems old shit where he talked about his suicide attempt and drug abuse and mental health issues. Wen he was popping it wasnt cool to talk about doing drugs. It was hustler rap or gangster rap.
@@matthewbonner100 It is very dishonest for you to suggest that eminem was ever looked at as corny because of songs like "the way I am", and not the multitude of songs where he's talking about raping people killing gays and mocking the dead. Eminem was a troll in every sense of the word and that is what made him corny. Only difference between him and other corny trolls is that he was actually talented.
Stop acting that Joe budden is the first rapper to put "feelings" into their music. That's quite the bubble you live in. The average person doesnt even know that joe budden was a rapper at all.
Let's be clear. Scarface and 2Pac did that years before
The way he transitioned to Rory & Mal was hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂
I was waiting on this part 😂
Bruh that transition was nasty
that new Rory track is fire.. my word.
Timestamp?
21:01 😂 terrible
I love seeing Joe Budden at peace and truly happy. At least it seems that way for someone I don’t know personally.
"They wanna spoof everything from the 90's,except that energy that kept it real."💯
@Jim Crawford Me growing up in the 90's compared to now, yes.
That was a Hard Azz Line. Big FACTS.
@Jim Crawford yea. being a hater was heavily looked down on and you had to see people for real.
@@amidbse Crazy thing is, They were Big HATERS back then
@Jim Crawford indeed it did
Nore be all over the place sometimes lol. Shout out to EFN for asking great questions and keeping the interview on track!
Nore sometimes can ask the worst, uninformed questions
He always seems so scatter brained, and then when hes off the drank on top of it, some of these interviews can get mad awkward.
But if you watched the episode somewhat recently when NORE swung through Joe’s spot, that was an entirely different NORE when he was the guest. It seems like hosting causes him to be all over the place lately
Nore is a bit cringe
@@5teveV I cant even watch Drink Champs anymore because of him. I'm only getting through this one because it's with Joe Budden
Moood MuZik 1-4 is literally therapy for any situation you going thru. The “ he made pump it up “ people literally don’t listen to rap Buddens one of the best to do it IYKYK
Respect to Joe for his pen, business sense, and how he has always stayed true to who he is.
Glad to see his continued success.
That beard gotta go someone need to shape his shitbup.the correct way
He’s always been a self imploding snake, guy ruined long friendships and the best podcast dynamic for greed.
@@FreeBandz658 Pods better now. Everything Mal didn't want to do on JBP, he doing now. Btw if someone stole from you, where are the lawyers?
Hmm I dunno he seems to burn a lot of bridges though and has a mad ego problems
@@FreeBandz658 and you’ve always been a fan…mfs like you are hilarious🤣
That Rory and mal question was the craziest Segway ever😭
FAAAAACTS!😂😂 I was like wtf?!
Segue my guy not segway
Whether people like it or not… Joe Budden will go down as one of the best podcasters and Hip-Hop media personalities of all time.
He’s already there 🤷🏾♂️
He the bestt of all time
To late
And rapper
joe budden and stephen a smith should have a podcast mini series
Only a half hour in and I can tell Joe took a refresher "media training" course before this interview!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Joe been getting his back kicked in for 20 yrs😂😂😂 he fully understands how media works
Joe dropped a freestyle back in 2005 , I wanna say… called
“Dumb out”. When I heard it for the 1st time I instantly knew he was beyond MOST RAPPERS , lyrically. If you’ve never heard it , you should.
That was off Mood Muzik 2
🔥🔥
I heard that shit too he went off six minutes of death is cold too
joe goes hard too bad his career didn't take off
That track was/is crazy. I think its the song that really made me a Budden fan.
Joe's album "All Love Lost" is a very emotional, masterpiece of a project. If nobody has heard it, you need to. One of the most deepest albums I've heard from any Emcee.
Immortal is one of my favorite songs of all time
@@harrisonjones3931 Yeah.. I agree. That's a good track
Love, Im Good is incredible.
@@SolidSnake240 also a good one. That whole project is amazing
I had friends try to get me into Joe's music forever. That was the first project I heard after listening to "Something to Ride To" and "Pray for me"
Love Drink Champs but I wish they would’ve stayed more on track and actually asked Joe more questions about his rap career and then embark on his transition into media. Appreciate Joe for dropping gems as always.
Joe has been on Drink champs before. Watch that episode
We don’t care about his rap career anymore. We wanna hear about now
No hate but budden is technically a one hit wonder. His media career is way more relevant.
@p
Rd? M2:;…:
I love how Joe mentioned going to Miami and chilling with NORE but never mentioned doing a Drink Champs episode. Just let it drop. Let the work speak for itself.
Same. I am a day one listener of the JBP so I remember him mentioning this recently, but not saying anything about drink champs. This was a pleasant surprise.
@@kathleenwhitlow7820 he most definitely mentioned doing drink champs and said they tried to get him in trouble but they didn’t. Also stated he didn’t drink. Maybe it was a Patreon episode but he said it.
@@kathleenwhitlow7820 he did mention it once. Or maybe I'm just thinking about when nore was on there
He talked about it on Flip and Joe
Or Let Nore promote his own. Fans dick eat too much
Joe's music absolutely changed my life at a certain period on my life. Now I just crack up listing to him give his opinions. I wish I could talk to that guy lol. He'd probably tell me how wack I am as a rapper but I think we'd vibe on a personal level. Lmaoooooooo. Love this episode.
Yall need me on the show fr
Nah they dont
EFN so underrated and great at what he do...He understands his role in their partnership and plays it well.....He doesn't want to be the dominant personality on the show.....He keeps the interviews flowing so well...Him and Nore work perfect together
Joe Budden really does know his Hip Hop 💯
Just finished the episode. A whole new appreciation for Joe after hearing how knowledgeable and passionate he is about hip hop and it's history. "It raised me". I feel that 💯.
Love and respect
#
That’s why he’ll always be in my top 5. He’s passionate.
Dope🔥 Marlon is one of my favorite people to watch. Nice work Drink Champs 💪🏾💯
Joe is the best at going on other shows and clowning the way the hosts host 😆 this dude is special.
Nore was ALL over the place 😂 he was so excited to talk to his homie fuck this interview 😅😅 luv Nore💛 luv seeing Joe's growth
he's on drugs
That’s a fact he was definitely happy AF
@@advanced8998 he was definitely giving I’m coked out energy
I love E F N and Joe's back and fourth hip hop knowledge extremely dope.....💪🏾💯
Great episode. From Joe’s musical inception to now, all I have witnessed is growth. It is well deserved. I miss hearing new music, but the old music is plentiful enough that I can’t grumble too much. Dope Emcee and dope podcaster.
We deserve that GLASS HOUSE album smh
Saw the disclosure in the beginning, was waiting to hear Joe's voice say "The thoughts and views of this podcast as well as its hofstssss"
😂
😂😂
Hofstssss lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"...or our ownttt"
NORE is a fan and I appreciate this interview 🙏🏽. I love Joe and his evolution. Great job guys.
Agreed
51:30 when EFN was clarifying Joe loves his fans. Joe's fan know the deal. He means ... Another person cannot move him to pursue his passion. His passion is derived from him. And this podcasting and evolving content is what's moving.
Joe said "you don't have to tell me what you heard" and that touched me. I will use that in future
Dudeproceeded to tell him what he heard tho 😂
@@isiahnelsoniv nore is a femboy sometimes ngl
i love how drink champs celebrate everyone because in every genre they celebrate but in hip hop they try to separate the classes not good we have to stick together. wonderful show i need a drink btw lol
“I am salty, salty… yes” 😂 that was funny!
Joe handled himself like a G, Love the camaraderie between these legends from the best hip-hop eras
Usually Nore has some structure to his interview questions, seems like he was kinda nervous and was tip toeing around topics to not trigger his man. The segway into Slaughterhouse seemed off lol
Joe you’ve helped me so much with ya music , not just me you’ve helped soooooo many of us bro I swear it healed me in so many ways bro 51:56
Mood muzik saved my life in a very dark time. Joes a GOAT . Love dude
Salute 🙏🏾
Fact
Facts that mood muzik albums are therapy...
Oh brother
Are you a light skin bkack male?
Love seeing Joe on other platforms holding shit down! Counted my 🥷 out came back swinging💪🏽
Calling a brother voluptuous is crazy 😂
This is what is all about not holding on to the past and moving forward great interview respect 💯
Joe a Legend he survived all the hate and still came out on top. Virgo shit!
No doubt. But why nobody..including Joe, realize that most of his hate was created by things he's done
What's signs aren't good surviving an coming out on top?
Virgo shit ..... lol bro he just talented enough and shows resilience 😅
JOE THE BIGGEST HATER
And now one the biggest haters
Man was dropping the hottest freestyles back in the day and had some of the greatest beefs in history’s in just happy to see he’s getting his recognition. Salute
He's got some the greatest music in general.
And disses.
All cap
His beefs have been wild for the culture 😂
@@Yung813 even google translate didn’t understand your bullshit 😂
When Joe was on Taxstone! That shyt was hilarious!😂😂😂
that was a nice slide in to tell a guy from new jersey :...DA Jersey's up there I'm proud of you". That was one of the slickest disses in an interview.
Ladies & Gentlemen... we got him‼️😂
WEEEE GOT HIM😭
Joe said "They trying to spoof everything from the 90s expept the energy" DOPE
Big Virgo energy... 🤣🤣
Nore needs to calm down and get his words right.
Rhode Islander here- seen him in the smallest venue and did NOT disappoint! And absolutely true that he was NOT on the radio. You had to be an underground lover to hear, follow and find where he would be. His music was the sound track of a lot of our lives. Still a favorite.

High key this best and shortest interview DC ever did. To retain info and discuss rumors is great job to both parties fr 🫡
Loved this interview!
Joe is a better interviewer than NORE
You can tell joe is an experienced podcaster ❤
Never got a chance to see Joe perform live. But watching him on UA-cam and fans singing word for word alway gets me too. Don’t know why cause im in my room
Singing word for word too.
Love this interview. Much respect to Joe Budden. I've always respected him for really speaking his mind. I really started rocking with Budden when he dropped mood music 2. Old school mouse was a classic track. Shit went hard!!!
Joe is a narcist ....
His music is whack
@@staypuft9994 foh
Joe is hilarious and i can respect his rebrand to a podcaster but he fucks over way too many people in his life. Guy just ends up imploding everytime
Lol Joe's reaction at 10:38 has me cracking up!
Love Joe Budden. Glad he’s sticking to his sobriety. Like that he’s not over the top, but still entertaining. I for sure believes that he holds back a lot. Joe seems like a naturally unfiltered person so he has to bite his tongue sometimes
I gave it a like before even listening cause I already know it's going to be good great Podcasters all of yall the best in the game
21:05 Nore transitions to a new topic are hilarious
Great show with Joe on it🔥🔥🔥💯
Joe is right about there are some who are waiting to bash his back in. I would love to hear new music, "Tell Him Something " is my favorite song, but the album is great! Always been a fan and continue to follow you on your journey. I Love the person you have become from watching you throughout the years. Keep up the good work.😊
Hearing how Joe voice sounds on Drink Champs vs how his voice sounds on his podcast is why he has the #1 platform. All the details matter
That was an awesome interview. Big shout out to my hometown Jersey City and Joe Budden
I've always fux w/ *Joe Budden* -- who he is as a person... his personality & knowledge of the music industry, being raw, uncut & genuine! 💯
NORE describing Joe as voluptuous is INSANE lmao
Im 32 and started watching and listening too everyone involved a while ago. Great content. That said in very ready for the OGs in the game to act like OGs. These days it's all gossip and dissing. Feels like all they want is drama.
Edit: they hit their stride when N.O.R.E. started remembering Joe's concerts. This is what i wanna hear
Nore was big messy on this episode 😂😂 I'm here for it 😅
This had me in stitches. Great rapport
Keep it coming!!🙌🏽💯💯 great show!!
I was not expecting! This was gold! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I used to not feel Joe at all but the more lately Joes growing on me ... I like Joe now I got respect for Joe and all he is doing now and accomplished... Big ups to Joe and Drink champs
What bothers me about this interview is I feel like Joe is in a very unique space as a creator with a lot of information now and there were too many headline chasing questions instead of a true conversation
Na Joe has real fans. I’d love a Joe budden EP more than any other rapper. I’m 32 years old, my 25 year old brother would say the same. Shout out to Joe and Nore and we can’t wait for more joe budden music.
Just one more man....
Me and my brother are similar in distance and same here.
Exactly
Facts!!
Joe grown now
My guy took me back to my childhood days with this one…my grandmother had that same flower design in her curtains & my mom also had a night gown with that exact same pattern! Wow how time flys
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
So glad Joe finally on Drink champs I was requesting this a year or 2 ago and y'all 🤡 me for it 😅🤣 but all is cool I forgive just great to see Joe get his flowers he deserves I'm talking strictly music 🎤🥊🏆
Watching the growth in Joe is beautiful. This man said, I am against Multimillionaires beefing. I wasn't like that when I was outside of the club, but now that I am in the club, I am completely against it. It's way better things to do. Beautiful.
Great to see mature Joe, he has had so many ups and downs all in public. His ablity to adapt and reinvent himself and still come out on top should be appreciated. I do miss rapping Joe, it would be great to see he and Ransom collaborate now that Ransom is killing it the way he is but I have my Mood Muzik playlist to reminisce about Slaughtermouse!!
yeah hes fucking 50 years old its about time
I love having and seeing others debate Hip-Hop history.....even if you wrong, you still learn something for ya next debate‼️
I love Joe’s voice & how well he speaks.
Joe has nothing negative to say about Rory and Mal because all the negative comments about that situation are directed at Joe.
I'm a day 1 of Joe's never missed an episode n has every album. I remember the XXL printed my article and all. We even have a photo together at his Grammy party in Jersey. Yea love this interview.
That’s dope
Great interview! Joe is hilarious 😂 🤣 I’m glad he got his flowers. He’s definitely in his own lane when it comes to media & podcasting. He deserves to keep winning 💯
Funny I was just bumping some mood music today and then I stumble across this video
I watched joe budden tv in like 2010 I remember there was like an AIM chat room and Esther in the back
The timing on that "But I know God did" tho 😂 🤣 🤣 😂
Glad Joe getting his flowers. A lot of his accomplishments has been looked over. Went to a Joe Budden concert, literally knew every word 😅😅😅
I could be his hypeman better than his hype man lol
Shoutout to Nore for going straight to the jugular with the Rory and Mal situation
Messiaga! 😂 Everytime I heard that! Lol😂. I love how they show love
Pump it up is 20 years old and still hits just as hard today.
Song sucked
Joe is the Godfather of a lot of trends
It’s 2023 and REVOLT still thinks it’s acceptable to not provide time stamps on a nearly two hour convo.
This interview is funny as hell 😂😂
Joe is so likeable in this interview. I didn’t expect it and almost didn’t listen because I’ve felt like he’s so MEAN (although I will listen to his podcast every now and then, or clips, depending on the topic). So I was glad to hear him (well, Nore) address that at the end. I thought, “Oh cool, he KNOWS! LOL!” I like how direct and honest he is and LOVE his voice. Glad I changed my mind and listened to the (whole!) interview. I hope he truly is a sweetheart underneath the “mean” veneer. With his pink floral. ☺️💖✨
He really is. He puts on to be the "bad guy" because it's more polarizing but you get a deeper feel for his actual personality on his content called "Humans" on his channel. Amazing content and he's just being his normal inquisitive self. 💛
Joe is just Joe. He is not mean mean but can be mean. He can be loving and sweet but also cold as ice. He thinks deeply about things and sees things that others don’t and that can weigh on him. He has a very unique voice that you can listen too. It is smooth but a little gritty. He is definitely a leader and multi faceted. Sometimes he will say something that you will never expect him to say and then sometimes he will say things and you think there goes that petty Joe that crazy Joe. Got love you some Joe.
