That was fire 🔥 I told my parents the same thing; “just give me a year to figure it out Pops”…they did and I turned that into a 10+ year career as a filmmaker.
both have powerful voices that they use differently. We know what the raspy voice accomplished in rap and you can tell his pops is a strong public speaker
No they dont!! Men dont need to be celebrated to do what they are supposed to do! Us real men understand that, honestly thats the problem with society and thinkers like you, believing responsibilities should be celebrated. Yall been raised like some skeezers
This is why having both parents in your life is so important. It’s amazing to see such a legend seem like a little kid next to his father. It’s respect
Why u think we haven't had a Malcolm x, MLk,MJ,prince, w.e.b Dubois i mean I can keep going and if you look at all those men it was a nuclear family in the household so all this stupid independent woman crap killing the blk community on top of blk ppl not getting together smh
In Jadakiss song Still feel me he said “My pops thinks his son is deserting him, it’s hurting him, guess I got to be the man , sit down and work with him “ one of my fav songs
I love this so much!! I love Kiss, and seeing this, three generations. We never remember that black fathers are one of the most active demographic of dads. This is one of the best episodes ever!
I see where Jada gets his genius from. His father is a mastermind. I see the same integrity, ingenuity, and ambition in Jada Kiss’ son. This was inspiring.
Salute to Jadakiss, his father and son on this business venture. With Jadakiss' popularity, his father's 40+ years experience in the coffee business and his son's youth & knowledge of social media, this is a can't miss for them. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Loved This!!! When Kiss’ father said that part about “All three parents got together”….It explains so much about their chemistry. This was a Great episode 🔥🔥🔥
I can remember reading, yes reading, an interview with Jadakiss. He talked about all this - going to Westchester Community College, having both his parents, etc.
The KISSES ARE SO ARTICULATE ❤! YOU CAN TELL THEY ARE A GREAT "FAMILY DYNAMIC"💜 And beleive in Education!!! Living in the hood don't mean you are a statistic!
His dad reminds me so much of mine the way they carried themselves and talked. My dad has passed. I got a little emo at the beginning of this cast! Shout to his dad and that era cause some of us wouldn’t have made it without them!
The Kiss Men loving eachother throughout the years and making a legacy together😍 This is definitely a historic moment for the culture. Loved everything about this episode. More of this plz. Def ordering my coffee, too✨
With all the death, incarceration, and other sad news in hip hop lately, this one was beautiful and like a breath of fresh air. 😌💪🏾🙌🏾 I really appreciate the positivity for a change.
Joe I really gotta give it to you for this one big. It was so beautiful seeing this. Thank you for bringing them on. And s/o to Jadakiss for seeing the value in it as well. I have NEVER seen rap niggas do this EVER. This is so beautiful bro!
Top 5 episode of the year, hands down!! Salute to the entire Kiss conglomerate!! Love to hear dad speak!! Newport Papi bugging, Jadakiss is top 5 dead or alive, argue with your mama!! Happy New Year, stay safe folks!! 🎉
Jada is a General (his break down of his approach to the verses battle was strategically genius) and his pops is a King (the facilitator) and his son is a Prince (taking it all in, knowing he's the future). I love the generational coalition happen here.
I absolutely love Jadakiss’ catalogue. Crazy how hip hop evolves, yet it’s so young. As a 25 year old, I grew to love hip hop from my dad. One story my dad always tells me is when he used to bounce in the clubs. He ended up being a body guard for jadakiss for a night back in the day. It’s a beautiful thing when connections like that are made, you just never know what’s gonna happen in this world.
The most motivating thing about this is how having a dad to raise him right paid off. Jada is well off and probably takes good care of his parents. People don’t understand your kids are in investment and when you invest in them it pays off when they get older and will gladly give back to you 🥰😍 this is a beautiful episode
Oh man! I’m not 24mins in with the biggest grin on my face! Lol I appreciate this episode so much! Seeing the generations together, hearing these stories about kids we had no idea about. This is gold. Preciate this 1 Joe.
This was Uber encouraging to see 3 generations of MEN in same bloodline, give their experience and allow us to see where they coming from and where we can go/are going. THANK YOU FOR HAVING "The Kiss" 💋 (and his closest people) on here.🙏🏽

And just fruitful n fascinating conversation. and the SON....totally talking up the biz n knows his Dad's n his Dad's peers catalogues inside out. Joe Budden this was the best interview ever and I feel the same way you and your host do about seeing this family together and make memories and history thanks.
Mentality and perspective become big factors and aren't necessarily shaped by A Mom or Dad you live with. Certain choices and paths change your trajectory physically and mentally to a point that some 25+ years later you never realized the exact point you began to skew from your potential. It take so much more to be strong and stand up despite outside influences in youth, staying true to yourself and your own vision rather coopting or following others for mistaken admiration of what basically amounts to bullshit and foolishness as a Man. SALUTE for the dialouge
This is a great interview. I tell my daughter those same words I heard from my parents " Keep living"!! Words to live by!!! Thanks for sharing this episode of Patreon JPB!!❤❤
