Thank you, as always, for your thoughtful, clear and concise, hype-free tutorials. I look forward to them every Friday and you never disappoint. Happy Holidays!
Merry Christmas, Jono. Your Logic tutorials are exemplary and have been a massive source of knowledge and inspiration for me since discovering them a couple of months back. Thank you! And have a marvellous Christmas and NY. Best wishes. Ben
Fun little secret, when you group instruments, Logic applies some very subtle compression-like process to them under the hood. The stereo image is slightly narrowed and some low-mid “warmth” is added. Something to be mindful of. It’s super useful at helping create a tiny bit of extra separation, yet I often keep the widest sound wide by not grouping them. It’s not a huge difference, yet it’s there.

This tutorial, as always, was absolutely brilliant. Man ! What a fantastic feature and I have not done any of this within my projects? This, as you say is such a helpful feature and love how you can just switch it off for individual track changes. So got a busy Boxing Day ahead of me now (my good lady permitting😜) going over my projects and grouping up where necessary! Well Jono, a very merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you so much for all that you have taught us in 2020
Thanks, this is what I needed! But if I add a new instrument to the Group I created, it doesn't update the parameters (I'm only using Automation to drop some of the faders down at the end of a track). How do you "update" the new instrument to follow along in the Group?

Well said. There's lots of logic tutorials out there. But Jono is now my first 'go to'. Clear, concise and to the point. Great job!
