Your video is the 6th I've watched on a making a DIY bottle cutter and it's the best one out there. I really like the idea of the caster wheels or whatever they're called vs the steel pipe or pvc pipe that everyone else seems to use. I'm fairly certain I have a set of the casters somewhere in my ever growing pile of "stuff I hoard, knowing I can use it someday" Brilliant! Cheers!
I mean hat's off... hands down🙇♂️🙇♀️, So far, this is the ❤BEST❤ viedo ever I've seen on UA-cam on the subject! It's just perfectly simple, a whole complete description process from the scratch to the end. Welldone bro🤩🤩🤩
I watched two videos and already subscribed. I really appreciate that you do projects with simple tools that I can easily acquire. It's refreshing after seeing so many channels with super tools that discourage you from doing things.
Yes, I feel the same. I guess it‘s nice to have a cnc-machine, but it‘s also very satisfying to make useful things with just the stuff that almost everyone has at home. I‘m glad you appreciate it!
Hey, thanks! The absolute dimensions are not important for this project. Just use what you have and place the cutter so that you can cut the size of glasses you want to end up with.
Ножевка и стеклорез советские) залипательны ваши видео, понравилось. Но смысл в таких стаканах? Ручки нет, не жаропрочные,... под рассаду дачную тяжеловаты
Hey, thanks for watching! I don‘t have any intention of selling this. I am sure that there are products that do the same thing … or you could just make your own :)
Hey, thanks for watching! The exact dimensions are not important. They depend on the size of bottles you want to cut and the wood you have lying around.

Great. I'm going to try that at some point. We need more drinking glasses, and this could be a fun way to get "unique" glasses.

Thanks! I’m from Germany!
A cotton cord and some lighter fluid works as well and much easier So how many glasses do you need,
Have you tried it though? I could not get a consistently straight edge with that method. If you can make it work, I am interested in the details 😀
I like it...
Thanks!
I tried this but how many times I did the bottle is not breaking
Hm, maybe you didn‘t score it deep enough?
What is the name of cutter of the glass
Hey, thanks for watching! Around here they are simply sold as glass cutters. They come with several little carbide wheels.
Did you use a special kind of sanding paper for the 80 and 120 grit? Or is it the regular kind for wood?
I used regular wet-and-dry sand paper as it is used for metal and paint.
So cool! What are the dimensions if you will please?

It only takes 5 weeks to make this simple bottle cutter!😂
If you work really hard you can make it in three and a half.
