Karl, most cruise ships do not have water in the pool while in dock, once they leave the dirty water of the harbour they will pump fresh sea water and use chlorine to treat it.
No idea what the difference is, they should have plentyful of hookers there for entertaining purposes, but I suspect the hospital is there to help those who have tried to escape the boredom by attempting suicide.

This is transport ship from Kerala to Laksadeep. Many students come and study in Kerala. This is necessary for them especially someone going for international travel has to come to Cochin for cheap flights. The local community of Laksadeep is so much depend on Kerala except Military Base.
I visited Lakshadweep this year. I was astonished to see how clean the waters and the places are. The people so polite and friendly. Food is quite appetizing. And to my shock the water sports are so affordable compared to Andaman. The day starts late like 8 am sunrises and the day ends late like 8 pm the sunsets. I guess Lakshadweep is the only place out of all the places I have covered in India where moon also rises from the horizon, that seen was so blissful. Leaving all the staff apart there were only 9 members (we were 7) on the island.
Personally me as an India,,never visit any beach or cruise 🚢 and you are not only giving guidance to foreigner but also to those people like me who never visit such places 😅😅

In the West Personal Hygeine was very low on the list till Medieval Period & even till sometime later. They crapped & peed in a pot & emptied it on the streets, else open spaces were used . And it was common for families & their guests to use the same pot. In fact even when visiting residences of noblemen & royals people peed in any corner of the house & the smell was a big issue . Water for cleanliness on a daily basis was not common.. Even cleaning teeth daily was not done. .. forget cleaning ass with water or anything unless there was a mess. A soaking bath or a dip in a lake/ river at some point wld do Flowers, powder & perfumed oils & such were important to keep people smelling good

Hey karl I have been to Lakshadweep recently and had a very amazing experience,I saw your video before visiting Lashadweep where you had few bad experience as far as food is concern but i must tell you, you had spoiled your trip because of SAMUDRAM package. I was there with my husband for 5 days and those days were so amazing, the food which was completely organic, the people who were very freindly and down to earth, the scenic beauty which was mesmerising you have missed everything because of Samudram. I was in Thinnakara island that was a perfect place if you are a nature loving person. I should suggest you next go with your wife and stay in Thinnakara Island avoiding Samudram package. You will enjoy everything: food, people, nature's beauty, those sunrise and sunset, low tides and high tides, everything. Plan between december to february. Thanks!
