I'm still dreaming of a big sci-fi combat game that would be Titanfall 3, BF 2143, CoD IW2 and Halo Reach 2 together and all at once.
I'm confused, so its not a multiplayer game, or a singleplayer campaign. What else is there then?

It's probably that bounty hunter star wars game that they were making that they got canceled. So this game might be a titanfall reskin of it.

As a huge fan I wanted a 3rd Titanfall and wondered why it's been years. I'm still playing TF2 on my PC. I remember getting a survey from Respawn asking for what I would like to see in TF2 before it's release. Of course at that time, what I mentioned was probably not doable.
I recommended having limbs fall off and if you are a weaker Titan and destroy a more powerful one, you can salvage parts or weapons in order to unlock them. Have a sort of build process so we can build our titans much like building weapons in Dead Space. Have destructible structures and an interactive environment in order to keep things a bit more random. Plus remove radar.
Everything can be earned through skill as it should.
Of course with today's Pay to Play market, they want money from online content. So I would expect DLC like premium maps, skins and customizations to be expected.
Idea: They could make certain base model weapons or parts for Titans purchasable but still earnable from playing.
If someone is paying to get better weapons, they should still have to earn other components in order to use them.
This way, those that suck can buy upgrades but those who have skill can earn them. And earning them gives you prestiges.
Basically, buy the weapon, it's exactly as is, no customization.
But if you earn it, you can swap components and customize it more.
It would be kickass to get up there in rank and have all the earned parts so that you could conceivably build your very own unique Titan from all the saved components.
But these are just dreams, until they are fulfilled, I'm still onTF2 😆

So first, I ain't believing anything until I see a trailer, gameplay if it's possible, this could still be cancelled before we see anything official. Second, I'm a bit dubious on the whole "there won't be online multiplayer" thing. Multiplayer is a big part of gaming these days. Not to say every game _needs_ a multiplayer mode, but EA wants to take the path that will ensure them the most profit, it's just who they are. And in the spirit of that, you know how Apex chased the trend of Battle Royale, transforming Titanfall 3 into that? Well, what's the hot new trend right now? That massive scale PvE everyone is playing, Helldiver's 2. Can you imagine, a massive scale PvE experience like HD2 with Titanfall gameplay? Factions like a bunch of rogue Marvin's or we finally discover the alien race that created the Ark but they're hostile? Not saying that's what the next game will be, but I'd like to try it.
Aside from that, I'm cautiously optimistic. I've enjoyed the aesthetics of Titanfall for a very long time, and I want to see that series expanded on. I hope I enjoy it, and several others enjoy it too, because what good is it if I play and like it but no one else does... that's what happened to Titanfall 2...

I keep on seeing people misinterpreting the article about the new Titanfall spinoff game. When they say “and” in the article, they most likely mean that it won’t have *both* multiplayer and single player; or in other words, it will only have one. Personally, I think a singleplayer game is more likely, since A) Respawn has a history of making banger singleplayer campaigns (Titanfall 2, Both Jedi games, and even the co-op and PvE content in Apex) and B) a singleplayer only game would be less likely to cannibalize Apex’s playerbase.
The respawn that made those banger games, 95% of the staff had all left and made two other studios.
@@tothewin5388 true, but the quality of Jedi Fallen Order shows that at least some of the devs, both new and old, know what they’re doing. Plus, Steve Fukuda is the project lead, and he’s one of the OG Respawn devs back when they were working on Modern Warfare. He’s also responsible for writing TF|2’s campaign, so there’s a pretty decent chance that it’ll be good.
*I meant to say Jedi Survivor, as that one is more recent and better supports my point

I think it’s more contextual than the quote can put into screen. It’s probably more like “it won’t have X *and* X” so it will still have one of the two.
EA has became woke after the partnership with Sweet Baby Inc. You will see how new caracters will look and a lot of the new skins.
Respawn want Apex Legends to last between 10-15years, if they don't bring Titans to the game there wont be some happy people, we are 5years into the game and there has been loads of Titanfall lore over the 5years and Imjust keeping my hopes up that we will get a game mode like Frontier Defence just strictly Titans, they won't ever put Titans into pubs I will garentee it 😉
While I agree that respawn are a somewhat decent developer, they're beholden to EA, and I have less than zero faith that EA is capable of publishing anything worth more than the dog shit on the street, Marketing folks do not, never have and never will make good development or release cycle decisions, they fuck everything up and then blame franchise failure on anything but their own egotistical dumbassery.
