At first I was like cute space, nice clean kitchen and gaming setup. Oh then he had me sold once I saw Toothless on the windowsill. But I am sure I fell in love with him once he mentioned Harry Potter. ❤️❤️
Damn you made me homesick. I grew up in that area. I used to walk through around there everyday. I love it peacefulness there. Summer evenings just sitting on the bench looking at the sun set and skyline, ppl watching. Even the noise from the bqe underneath doesn't distract from the beauty. Don't forget walking over the Brooklyn Bridge. 😊

I’m a Brooklynite. I left NY 15 years ago because it was getting too expensive to live there. I moved to the south. I pay $750 per month for a 4 bedroom house. Yep! $750 per month for all of those bedrooms & nice front yard and backyard. For $1,500 a month, that’s a mortgage for a 5 to 6 bedroom, 5 bath house here in the south. NYC highway robbery I don’t care what shops or view you have. Think of your future. Can you actually save money for your future living there?

I have a massive one that takes up most of my closet during the winter, this tiny one would be a lot easier to store.
That is a GREAT bed storage , I thought the two seats were the bed. This is too small an apartment for me but you have maximised so much , bloody well done to you Im very impressed!!!!!!
Tiny living doesn’t get any smaller! A very well laid out studio that makes efficient use of the space. Way, its laid out, it doesn’t feel like a closet and it’s cute! A sweet little bachelor pad.
You did a great job putting everything together in your apartment. And your location where you live is fantastic. And yes definitely for where you live and the convenience of the stores and all. It's worth 1500.00.
There is something very comforting about living in a small place. It's fun using your imagination in utilizing space and just making it down-right-cozy. For myself, it can give me a better sense of security and contentment as opposed to living in a larger place where you feel totally lost or exposed and vulnerable.... in a sense. I've lived in large and small but I still prefer smaller spaces. This guy has a knack for making a place a home....no matter what the size...that's what counts.

Oh wow! This is a minimalist heaven! That’s Such a good use of that space and every area is utilize, not to mention that part of Brooklyn is to die for! I was wondering where the bed was but that’s genius... and that table 👌🏾 that price honestly is not bad at all to be living alone In NYC in that area. You definetly found a good spot.

I can tell you are happy and you make it work. I agree we tend to use too much space. we should look to europe.
Nice cozy space and so functional, it's actually impressive how well-utilized space is. A bit pricy for 160sq ft though, but it's NYC so totally understandable. In Toronto, for $1500 you can get a Studio/bachelor of about 400sq ft in our nice midtown neighborhood :) Downtown it would be more expensive normally, but during covid downtown prices actually decreased. We have a 685sq ft 1 bedroom apt and we have locked in at a good price from 9 years ago which is less than what people pay for a bachelor nowadays in our building. Our size apt nowadays in our building is 1850+electricity. The studio/bachelors are $1500. 2 bedroom is $2260, not sure how many sq ft, but some of them have a patio.
I was sad when you unfolded the foam seat and called that a bed. Then you pulled down the murphy bed and WOW!!! Nice size bed!!! Love that.

Brooklyn Heights is nice, but there are other nearby neighborhoods that are just as nice, where you could get something way bigger for $1500.
