Why I landed on The Rag Company is the simple fact that they are great quality, reliable, easy to get, economical in bulk and perform and last when taken care of. I stick to the colors of blue or gray as they seem to bleed/stain the least. IF you are on a budget, you CAN just use a waffle weave towel for everything. It’s not my preference but it’s cheaper to maintain waffle weave exclusively. 😊😊😊
Thank Jamie I appreciate you knowledgeable wisdom about mobile detailing it’s very informative to newbies like myself just starting out in the business any information I can grab it’s very supportive to increase my business, thanks again my friend
Good info thanks! Same thing here, I thought it was crazy to spend much on a drying towel, but totally worth it to get a twisted loop like Gauntlet or Liquid8r. Those things will soak up a river. The Gauntlet is so big it kills my washer on the spin cycle though.
Just watched this and it’s about to help me a ton with my own system . I’m about to do my first ceramic coating on a black new car and I needed some cross reference for the type of towel useful for that. Huge help there with those ones you showed. Yeah sure enough those gray Grant brand towels from HF are totally able to hold a decent bit and have a plushie side but the darn thing must only be useful for drying hard surfaces like a work truck car door LOL. I have two of them and I think that or metal rims is all I might start using them for. Lastly I think I’ll start using the cheaper towels you mentioned or even terry towels. At my local detail shop in Clarksville, TN the guys had a seminar and the PS guys were there! They told me that the terry towels are actually good for absorbing and mopping up dirt, I wonder if you might give those a try cause personally I thought they were cheap crap but I’m curious!
I actually use terry towels often! I just left them out of this video since they are not microfiber. They are great for many things especially interiors. Glad you got some useful information out of this. And thank for sharing your insight 👊🏽
@Thai.H it’s a 31 minute video. Feel free to skip around or watch one of my shorter videos. I try to be thorough and detailed here so people get the information they are looking for. Of course I could just tell you the towels I use and give you the links in the description and do it in 10 minutes, but that is not really what this channel is about. A great feature here on UA-cam is having the ability to adjust playback speed. Try watching these longer videos on 1.5 or 2x speed to help shorten the view time. With that being said I will definitely take your comment into consideration when making future videos 👊🏽

Yes love those little mini amphibian towels I bought em after seeing Jeremy from shine supply use them as a finishing towel for glass
@@RCdetails203 definitely my favorite towel right now!! I will have to checkout that video!

when you went with TRC how many of each towel did you get, or how many of each catigory do you reccomend getting
Then you say "Eagle" do you mean their Eagle 500? Cause they have tons of Eagles in their line
The new grants drying towel from harbor freight has a plush yellow side that’s surprisingly soft with a 70/30 blend that finishes well.
I will have to try the new one out!
try Greyscale UFW towels. Both the plush and the short nap are insane. the short nap is the best towel i've ever used.

Good video bro
Most important thing is good quality. Everything else is secondary
Very informative video J!

What is the towel that you showed right after the Creature Edgeless?
If I’m not mistaken, it (the gray towel) looks like TRC’s Edgeless Pearl.

I disagree.
@@Chris-ef7nx you really think he needs 40 mins to get this across to his viewers?

Yes and Dawn dish soap is all you need for detailing lol.
Things you use for detailing are relative and subjective.
Use what serves you best.
