I love this technique as we can use up old papers and make them look incredible. Ty. I have no idea why no one hits your like buttons. I love all your videos. Ty.
Oh, my goodness, Jennifer. I love these. Every card that you showed I would think, "That's favorite." And then the next one would be my favorite and then the next." LOL. I love 3-D embossing folders as well as heat embossing and butterflies. So you had me from the first minutes.
Jennifer I have to say that you are an embossing Queen! You are the cleanest embossed person I have seen. Lol I would have that powder all over the place. Love the video. Thank you!
I love butterflies and your cards are all gorgeous. The background technique with embossing folders and powders are amazing. I will be trying this real soon. Thanks for sharing with us.
So beautiful!! I also love butterflies but dragonflies are even more my thing. I’m waiting for a large layered dragonfly stamp set (anyone listening?) so I can use it the same way as the butterfly sets I have. Wonderful technique Jennifer, thanks for giving us a new way to use what we already have. Good health to you and yours!
Embossing and Butterflies!!! Bingo, you hit my favs this time. Thanks for some new ideas and ways to use the many embossing folders I have collected in the past years. Keep on doing the amazing job you do. Huggss
Beautiful embossing cards. Love that leafy embossing folder. I like your idea of keeping the embossing folder as the focal point of the card. It’s a shame to cover up the beauty of the embossing. Hugs
Amazing how far embossing folders have come in terms of images & design. Very cool looking backgrounds. Great to have a bunch on hand, already made, for those days when you need a jump start.
Your cards are wonderful Jennifer! You get an amazing look with your EF using the different embossing powders!! Thanks for the great inspiration! Stay safe! :)
Jennifer thank you so much for the idea to use the brayer on the raised part of the folder, I've been struggling with getting the look I wanted because I was too heavy-handed.
Thank you for such a great video! I saw lots of these folders on my LSS' new products page so it was fun to see how many different beautiful projects I could make. I have lots of embossing powders so I will take your example and have fun experimenting. Thank you!
I’m in love with these cards and this technique! I haven’t had much time to great lately so I’ve been looking for simplified cards that pack a lot of punch. Thank you!
I guess the noise would be an issue but always learn from you and would love to see more use of Gemini to get better understanding of which plate configurations work best with different projects. Thx for all your creative videos & great tips!
Awesome cards!! I will try this technique Jennifer, thanks for the inspirations. I have some embossing powder that I am not using enough, this technique will be perfect.
Thank you for all your very enriching videos. You are very talented. Is it possible to tell me where I could find an ink standout that I find great? Thank you very much and long life to you.
i should have mentioned sorry. i highly recommend using the tim holtz black alcohol ink cardstock for sentiment strips. then white heat embossing with a fine powder, i use gina k.
Hi Jennifer McGuire great video. Quick question in your video you used an ink stand to hold your ink pad while you were using your brayer. Where did you buy that? Thanks.
I’m also crazy about butterflies but I wish the detail stamps didn’t have so much solid area so that the black doesn’t cover up those beautiful inked backgrounds. I’ll look for some stamps that are less solid to do something like this.
Hi beautiful ideas and work. I’ve been trying to do this kinda thing where only the raised parts of an embossed piece of work are inked but doesn’t matter what I try I still get it on the back ground trod with a brush, sponge , brayer ect still can’t get only the raised parts
What a beautiful technique and lovely cards! I wanted to ask what you have found is the best way to clean your embossing folders, brayers, and stamps when using Versamark ink since it is so sticky? Will baby wipes do the trick?
I would LOVE 💕 to know the answer to that as well @Jennifer McQuire, Please, Please, Please respond to @Julie Busch question. I’m sure others are waiting as well!!! I so loved your video today. I have over 190 embossing folders but only about 10-12 that are 3D. Hopefully it will work well on the regular folders. Thank you for the video. By the way is Altenew your company? I noticed that seems to be all you use in your videos now. When I went back to the states (I live in Costa Rica) last August (2020) for foot surgery, I was so excited because you mentioned how the stamp sets came with layering guides (color guides, etc) so I purchased a lot of Altenew layering stamp sets and was so disappointed to see some did not have the layering guides and some of them I had to buy. Yea, wasn’t too happy about that, especially when they are somewhat pricey when you buy stamps and dies separately. I wish they would give a discount when you buy them at the same time. Keep up the wonderful tutorial videos, I love watching you. Blessings to you…
I have recently started watching all your videos and you are so inspiring. Can I ask what kind of holographic paper you use. I watched 2 of your videos just now and I can't remember if it was on this video or the other one I watched, sorry about that. There was a little thin strip of the holographic paper. Thank you in advance.
I wonder if placing the embossing folder onto a glimmer foil plate then placing the foil on the heated folder, running it through the pressure machine would work?
Hi Jennifer. Which cardstock did you use here? I am a new cardmaker and don't have many types of cardstock yet. I have mostly lightweight cardstock which works fine with embossing and inking, but I don't think it would do well with this dual embossing technique. Which ones would you recommend for this technique? Thank you!
Dear Jennifer, I have a question, what should I do after making these expensive cards, no body wants to buy these stuff as it's the era of sending cards through internet.
Love this video Jennifer, however so disappointed you covered up the Enchanting beauty silver die cut with so many sentiments on that beautiful teal background. All that effort just to cover it up, I don't understand that. Sorry but it was SO beautiful until all those word strips were added. You are amazing and I do love the inspiration you give us. tfs
I never understand referring to embossing folders as two dimensional and three dimensional. All embossing folders are by nature three dimensional, some are just more detailed
Such beautiful embossing ideas! I can’t wait to try. Thanks Jennifer! So amazing!
I adore your butterflies. Amazing backgrounds. You are amazing
Love your cute bracelet! Kids will LOVE watching later and see your cute bracelet. ❤️
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL CARDS
I love this technique as we can use up old papers and make them look incredible. Ty. I have no idea why no one hits your like buttons. I love all your videos. Ty.
Jennifer, you are the best!
These cards are stunning!!!😻
Oh, my goodness, Jennifer. I love these. Every card that you showed I would think, "That's favorite." And then the next one would be my favorite and then the next." LOL. I love 3-D embossing folders as well as heat embossing and butterflies. So you had me from the first minutes.
Thank you
I'm going to have to get some 3 D embossing folders. Love all your techniques. Thanks
Very beautiful! Just came across your videos. Oh boy! So many good ideas. Thank you for sharing.
You are the best teacher!
As usual, another great video, Jennifer! TFS!

This video has given me more ways to use my new 3-D embossing folders! Thank you so much for the excellent teaching videos that you bring to us all.
You are welcome
You have the best technique videos of any card maker I’ve ever seen 💕💕💕
I have just learned of 3D embossing folders... a bit late to the game, but I love them! These techniques are so beautiful. Thank you!
Beautiful! Great ideas!
WOW! Gorgeous cards made with gorgeous stamps!
Jennifer I have to say that you are an embossing Queen! You are the cleanest embossed person I have seen. Lol I would have that powder all over the place. Love the video. Thank you!

Thanks so much!

Just launched the video. Only about one minute in and I’m already swooning! Love these!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Beautiful! I've inked my embossing folders before, but never would have thought to use Versamark and heat embossing. Stunning results!
Beautiful embossing cards. Love that leafy embossing folder. I like your idea of keeping the embossing folder as the focal point of the card. It’s a shame to cover up the beauty of the embossing. Hugs
Great technique. Your cards are amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing your wonderful techniques..
Hard to pick out one that I liked, I love them all. Thank you for sharing this technique, I know what I will be doing today!
This is right up my alley... it incorporates several of my favorite things. So excited!
Very nice. Basic supplies and new looks!
So cool, I'd really like to try this as I have several embossing folders! Thank you showing us 🙂
So elegant and beautiful!

Awesomeness❣️
I don't know how I missed this one! Amazing effects with things I might have already! Though I may splash out and get that vines folder
I guess the noise would be an issue but always learn from you and would love to see more use of Gemini to get better understanding of which plate configurations work best with different projects. Thx for all your creative videos & great tips!

So cool of a technique 😀

i should have mentioned sorry. i highly recommend using the tim holtz black alcohol ink cardstock for sentiment strips. then white heat embossing with a fine powder, i use gina k.
In Australia we don't get the examples for coloring the Altenew stamps when we buy them like you do, I don't understand why. They are so helpful.
Loved this. Ty
Hi Jennifer McGuire great video. Quick question in your video you used an ink stand to hold your ink pad while you were using your brayer. Where did you buy that? Thanks.
Swallowtail. 😊
Just gorgeous! I have noticed you use Pool cardstock often; where do you get your pool cardstock?
I’m also crazy about butterflies but I wish the detail stamps didn’t have so much solid area so that the black doesn’t cover up those beautiful inked backgrounds. I’ll look for some stamps that are less solid to do something like this.

Hero Arts Ultraclean works very well.
I have recently started watching all your videos and you are so inspiring. Can I ask what kind of holographic paper you use. I love Erin Lee Creatives holographic paper too. Simon Says Stamp has some good ones too.
Awesome video! How do you clean the folders when you are done?
You can wipe them off with a baby wipe or a dry cloth - however you clean your stamps.
I wonder if placing the embossing folder onto a glimmer foil plate then placing the foil on the heated folder, running it through the pressure machine would work?

Not sure what you mean by lightweight. If it is at least 80 lb. it should work just fine.
@@jennifermcguireink Thank you! Sorry I should have been more specific. =)
is there a place to buy the "ink stands" you use?
Mind blowing creativity you are gifted with by ALLAH SWT. Beautiful
Jennifer, where did you find your ink stand? I’ve checked the usual suspects but can’t locate one. Thanks!
You can buy directly from the company. Simon Says Stamp is carrying them now too. www.simonsaysstamp.com/search?currency=USD&q=the+ink+stand
Hi. Are heat embossed papers recyclable ?
Dear Jennifer, I have a question, what should I do after making these expensive cards, no body wants to buy these stuff as it's the era of sending cards through internet.
Where can I find these embossing folders?

You can always choose to use less on yours. Kind of my style but it doesn't have to be yours! And thank you for your comments
I never understand referring to embossing folders as two dimensional and three dimensional. All embossing folders are by nature three dimensional, some are just more detailed
Very true!
Beautiful!
