Beautiful! So glad you shared it. Pale blue, texture & the white is the icing on this creation & the wording could be White, or Navy but black is ok too🥰🦘🦘🙏🌹
Hi Yana, these cards are simple but elegant. The impressions are enough to make the cards feel special. Thank you for the great tutorial. I hope you and your family are safe and are doing as well as possible. Sending love from Connecticut.🌷🌻🌷
Another option would be to lightly sand over the raised embossing instead of inking over it, and the final look would also depend on the type of paper used. I was gifted a paper pack of 'metallic' paper from I believe it was A.C. Moore at the time but might also have been Michael's, in a 'darker' tone that embosses beautifully and on a whim i tried lightly sanding it. Since the paper has a slight sheen to it (a 'metallic' sheen), sanding it just took away some of that sheen and really helped the embossed image to just 'pop'. The paper I used has the same color in the core, but I imagine it would look good if it was a white core as well. Thanks for sharing your idea Yana... I can't wait to try this way too!
I love the sea glass cardstock: it’s a sophisticated weight & a gentle hue. A friend of mine sent me over to your channel & was concerned about the “exact same” die cut machine so I explained you meant the same brand but a *larger* sized machine. She also mentioned that you receive some small compensation “at no cost to us” & I reassured her again saying that you may have been a little cheeky because naturally any compensation is not going to be a “cost to us.” She’s an older lady who does read the ‘more’ menu carefully! I LOVE your creativity & how you let the quality card stock & embossing speak for itself without trying to do too much. ❤🇦🇺🌹
Having two girlfriends over to make “embossed cards” in two days and clamoring for idea’s that are not too much work and yet beautiful. That screams “YANA” in my book…Love your cards and I am sure they will too….Thanks so much for the beautiful card ideas for a couple of lovely girlfriends !
Thank you. These are so lovely! I had NO idea that you could do that with the stamp, then emboss, THEN still get heat embossing to work after some of the ink transferred to the embossing folder! Wow...that is just amazing. Thank you for demonstrating. Paula
Oh Yana this was wonderful. I just tried it and it works great! I have made 45 Xmas cards and need 12 more. I was running out of steam but this is making a fast a really beautiful card. It was just what I needed today. Praying for you and your family Yana.
Hi, thanks for all the great ideas. I will definitely be trying these. So much easier stamping sentiment instead of trying to adhere one onto a textured background.
I have several brands of 3-D embossing folders, and one of the things that I discovered (when I first started using them) is pick a design that has a lot of blank space around it, for example, a rose in the center with vines extending outward. That really makes the 3-D pop off the card. I have a couple of all over 3-D backgrounds, but I don’t like them as much because there is no open space to stamp or put a sentiment. I don’t like covering over the beautiful 3-D design with my sentiments. This idea is great and I plan to try it, and it may make my 3-D overall embossed backgrounds look better. The gear design on silver cardstock is fabulous for men’s cards!
They are gorgeous & elegant looking cards. Brilliant idea to stamp before the embossing. You said it doesn’t work with white card stock, but couldn’t you use the white and use a pale colored ink like fog gray or another ink you’d normally use for no line coloring? I don’t have any of the 3D embossing folders to try it out. But I think it would produce a very pretty card too. I can also see using this technique for sympathy cards - elegant without all the fussiness. Thank you so much for sharing this technique!
Thanks for sharing this technique. I have one quick question, could you heat emboss the sentiment first before dry embossing the background? I'm afraid I will smear the ink when placing the mat into the embossing folder.
Could you heat emboss the sentiment beforehand? I worry it might crack when I use the folder. Would the embossing be better if I spritz the paper first? THANK you
Your cards are absolutely gorgeous! 💎💫💙 What weight card stock did you use? Would 80 pound weight be heavy enough or do you need 100 or 110 pound weight? Thanks, Yana!
Love this! Hadn’t thought of doing it this way-you’re brilliant! Does anyone know what the “sequins without holes” are called and where can I find them. I dislike seeing glue ooze through then I need to find another smaller one to cover the hole. Many sequins are misshaped so I’ve started a gem/jewels collection while my sequins don’t get used! TFS
I try to answer every single question. But I am Ukrainian and I live in Ukraine and there's a war in my country that keeps me from being as engaged on social as I would like to be.

Never thought of stamping the sentiment directly on the card stock when embossing and it looks amazing. Thank you for another great idea!
Glad you like it! I didn't want to cover any part of the embossed design with a sentiment panel, so I had to try this idea instead ❤
Why the heck haven’t I ever thought of this before??? Genius, thank you

I wasn't 100% sure it would work, but it did 😀 . Versafine is very good ink, I hardly ever use anything else for sentiment stamping
I watched this last night and couldn’t wait to get up this morning and try it out! They turned out fantastic! Thank you for sharing ❤️
I just used this technique to make Easter card. They are "beautiful" and so easy. So happy t find your videos.
Glad you like them! thank you!
I think adding Distress embossing glaze over the clear embossing ink would be very cool! Great ideas here! TYFS ❤️🦋💜
Beautiful cards. Love the subtle color change depending on whether you use the embossing ink or the white ink. Thank you for sharing your talent!
Thank you! I need to revisit this technique ❤
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing your tips with us. And I love your placement of the sentiments. ❤️🌸🦋🌈

Really love the 3D embossing folders! I have a couple and they are wonderful! Will have to check these out !
I didn't think the sentiment would be readable! Cool technique. Thank you, thank you.
I has the same thought. But I gave it a go and it worked ❤

It does look pretty impressive IRL, doesn't it? ❤
@@Yana.Smakula yes it certainly does!❤
Beautiful cards and great tips x
Thank you, Bibi. Glad you like it ❤
I'll be giving this a try. I find I have better luck inking raised embossed areas using a brayer than anything else.
Yes, brayer does give much smoother results.
Love this technique and I can’t wait to try it, thanks!
Yay! Have fun ❤

Hello Tracy.

TFS ! So helpful, Also, I would like to know what cleaning solution you use. Absolutely gorgeous cards.
Lovely as usual
Thank you!
So pretty!!
Great ideas, thanks.
Great tips
I love these 3D folders. I have a question. Why did you heat emboss the greeting? Does this have to be done if I plan on using white cardstock.
I like this video, I like to no if u can embossing on vinyl I have a DesignNCut machine have not used it Yet.
Lovely
Thanks!
Could you heat emboss the sentiment beforehand? I worry it might crack when I use the folder.

Thank you! I would say the 100 and 110 would work better, but you can also try the 80, it might hold up on some designs.
Thx, great ideas!! 👍
Loved it
Hello, I want to ask if I can use it for embossing a leather for journal cover? Thank you 😊
I can't find the ultra clean cleaning solution. I also didn't find it in your list of supplies. Where can I puchase it? Thanks 😊
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it

They are called confetti sequins OR no hole sequins. Trinity stamps has some. Pretty pink posh & lucys cards are some places of the top of my head. ❤
Simon also has some, but they usually come in a mix with regular sequins.
@@TheSunshineCrafterKellyFusco Many thanks-going there shortly!
@@Yana.Smakula Thank you-another source!
Great
Can I buy them in Australia
what is that handheld machine called
?
I've never been able to emboss versafine ink that late in the process....
Is embossing also called permigano
can you foil emboss before dry emboss?
Absolutely! It looks amazing, too ❤
@@Yana.Smakula thanks
wow
How could I buy this emboss folder is it available in Indian?
See the links in the video description, these are only available from Simon Says Stamp. But they ship worldwide
Oh I absolutely love this easy but striking techniques 💜 Would it work out with normal embossing folders please?
I think it would work!

I will pray that you stay safe.
Great technique but very long video and talking just to get there
