What would have taken me hours before now takes me less than one minute to do. I can't believe I did not search for a solution for this daunting task before today. I downloaded vegasaur, follow your instructions, and viola, it works. I feel so bad for having wasted so much time of my life editing dead air when simple software could have done the work for me.

I have a problem, when I cut everything my grouped tracks are ungrouped after deleting
Great tutorial - I've used Vegas so much over the years in the past, I could do this with reaper but it makes my PC crash probably because I'm dealing with the old 2013 technology on my laptop LOL. I will give this a shot and I give you my support. Thanks again so much!

Hello !! Thanks for sharing this, you really saved my time and my life LOL !! But I have 2 issues :
1- Audio and video are ungrouped after the operation. How to keep them grouped or group all small parts again in one click ?
2- The marker is often placed too close at the beginning or at the end of my voice, cutting sometimes 50% of a word. How can I fix it ?

This might be the only case maybe... but i installed a vegasaur vesrion to MY CRACKED VEGAS PRO, so the extension rebooted the program and expired, and now i have no sony vegas, and no nothing, and it's all complicated because i have no way to recover that back!
I would just reinstall everything, you clearly know where to acquire it :)

How do you tell it's hanging around 54 @ 4:10? I don't see any markers. I have very small silence gaps in my music audio files, below 0.5s in length, is this app going to detect them?
What I meant by that is the audio volume/audio signal(same thing different word) is around 54, so I set Vegasaur to detect any signal that is below 54(well I used below 35).
So for me my voice is higher than 54 and silence is below 54, so basically I tell the program to detect only silence.
And how do you tell at what volume silence is/at what volume its hanging around? You look at the audio meter when you hit play.
Notice how at 2:16 when I hit play, the audio meter is moving(its next to the track, the green stuff thats jumping up and down as I talk)
