Thank you so much for making this into a video. I found it a bit difficult to constantly find info on my own across multiple different websites and having to fact-check EVERYTHING (considering how much fanon "info" is out there about these guys), so having it all compiled into one video is very useful. =] Edit: Also, I'm guessing that "conspicuous package" comment probably means to not use them for any game cases, packages and/or boxes, since as far as I'm concerned, the Miis with that comment aren't on *any* box art
Additional info: - Some of the Wii Sports Resort CPU Mii's pictures (like the Stéphanie one) appears slightly looking from up, instead of looking from front. - On Nintendo Switch Sports, Yoshi changed her favorite color as the same on that leaked image.
It's insane just how complex the Miis get. I datamined Breath of the Wild so I could update the modding wiki with informstion on them and it's both shocking and impressive just how many NPCs they were able to create from such few assets.
2:57 Considering these are all WSR only Mii's I assume they might've given them the same trademark as the Mii they are inspired from but to be honest it's still confusing. What I find most interesting is that it shows that these guys were planned to be in the games before the Mii Maker was even finalized, and there was still an entire batch of unused Mii's that also happened to be leaked in July 2021, that we know even less about.

I think it's just variety. Like you made this mii creator with loads of options, why stick with just light skin tones and straight hair? Would be very boring real quick
The other comment is true, but while pale skin is the beauty standard and the norm in urban areas, dark skin is decently common in other areas of Japan. It’s just not showcased in things like anime or tourism because it’s associated with outside labor work or indigenous Japanese populations (I am Japanese)
