I have watched a million laptop reviews and this was pretty good. You provided some additional insight that I feel others gloss over or don't even mention at all. The screen reflection. The quality of aluminum, and, most importantly fairly objective.

I do and I don't. Once I get early access I'm going to have to be careful what I say and if I'm negative, they won't send me more. But on the plus side I get more time to make a good video and it saves my bank account.
I have it for almost a week now... needs tweaking for heating, which is normal for a gaming laptop, still having problems with 2 extra 4k monitors without a docking station... the rest, love it

Does the screen wobble too much when typing or when the table was nudged? I saw that on early reviews and it's kind of putting me back from purchasing this or the G16.
No it wobbles when the table is hit or if you try to make it. But it doesn’t when typing.
is the g14 2024 4060 16 gigs good enough to last about 5 years? I have been looking for a laptop for that and this laptop is on sale for $1350 on best buy which seems really good. Is this a good deal? Great review though!
hey i ordered the asus zephyrus 14, same exact model but i’m very curious. is the fan a big problem when it comes to gaming? if so, can you recommend a solution or any products that can help when it comes to heating problems?
If it's too loud you can change different fan profiles in Armoury Crate. Less fan noise but also less performance. I've been using gaming laptops for almost a decade now so the fan noise doesn't bother me. But it definitely depends on the individual
can you please tell what is the basic battery life of this laptop like in simple web scrolling and stuff.
Haven't spent enough time to do battery but since it's a similar processor to last year I would say anywhere between 6 to 8 hours doing light work
is the build quality that much different between the new aluminum body and the previous aluminum alloy
Yeah!! The previous was a combo of magnesium alloy and aluminum. Different parts of the laptop felt different. This time it’s all one piece of high quality metal.

I haven't but I believe Samsung is the only one making these OLED displays. So there might be some tuning variations between manufacturers, but overall I don't think we should see much of a difference

I wanna do browsing, medium gaming and mostly school work. Just need a decent enough processor and good battery life because I travel a lot everyday. Also I hope for it to last atleast 5 years. I am confused between the zenbook 14 oled ultra 7 155h 32gb/1tb or the new g14 2024 with a 4050 or 4060 and 32gb/1tb. Which one should I go for???

For battery and efficiency I would look into the transcend 14 by Omen though I haven't checked it out yet. I hope to soon. But the Zen book is great too. I reviewed it on the channel and loved it. It performs like an ROG Ally for gaming if that's good enough for you. The g14 is great but for traveling and battery life, I'm leaning more towards a laptop with the Intel core ultra series.

brother pleeeease, i am on m1 max 14" at the moment looking to buy new laptop, and cant choose between G14 4070 / G16 4070 or 4080 / Samsung galaxy Book 4 Ulra (all of them 32 or 64), also i have all samsung devices s23 ultra smartphone, and tab s9 plus... give me your advice please
There’s some cool integrations with Samsung and the galaxy book 4 but overall the g16 is a much better laptop especially for gaming. I think the g16 4080 is the sweet spot. If you want something smaller then definitely look at the g14 too. But based on what you’re considering, I would definitely go with the g16 4080 because of the vapor chamber

@Promikes it uses sine wave pwm and it isn’t visible until you go past 240hz. I’m fairly sensitive to flicker and I haven’t had issues with it compared to some other mini led panels.
@@consumertechwarehouse9381 actually there is no option to buy 4080 in my region only 4070, so I have options for 4070 g14, g16, galaxy book 4 ultra and legion 7i... no way for 4080 vapor chamber...
I'm debating between this laptop and the new HP Omen Transcend 14. I was learning more towards the omen for a while but now I'm thinking this might be better. My main gripe with the omen is how underpowered the 4070 is on that one. I heard people saying on reddit it was running at 50w and with boost it would be 65. Some one turned on boost and it was still stuck at 50. I do like that the omen is cooler. I'm seeing quite a few videos on the G14 but no one has really been benchmarking the omen so would be great if you could cover that at some point.

I bought this and it's one of the best gaming laptops that I have owned coming from Alienware. My biggest selling point is the fact that it actually looks professional because I use it for work also and my co-managers keep asking me what laptop I own and they still don't believe that it's a gaming laptop! Performance is the best in class from what I've used in the past and I haven't really gotten the laptop hot playing on it for hours (I do not push the GPU) on ultra high just because you shouldn't be doing that in the long run. Overall its a 10/10 recommend

No wobble when typing. Fans aren’t so loud compared to other gaming laptops.

It’s always sold out it seems. Especially the 4090. It seems like they restock weekly. Keep checking. I have links down below that filters on the g14 and g16

i think that 1800p is too much for this laptop, 1600p should be fine, cuz this laptop can't even get 120 fps on this resolution even with Upscaling (maybe idk) but that shit sharp af
You can play at 900p with integer scaling. At that small of a screen it looks plenty sharp and runs much faster

@@houssamalucad753 yes it's too high for that gpu, the 2023 version has up to 4090 with a 1600p display, I wanted to see a 1600p 120hz OLED with a 4080 this year, umma wait next year

It's noisy 3rd fan is what's making me skip this. I'll wait next year for em to get it right and include the vapor chamber
The 4060 isn’t so loud. Don’t know about the 4070. But I plan on mentioning that. They should have a vapor chamber in all variants. I would love a 4070 quieter laptop
@@consumertechwarehouse9381 I heard it's only avaliable on the G16, and that's only if you get the 4080 or 4090. Having a slight high pitch fan running when I'm not really doing anything would bug me too much. At this point I'm considering the G16 4080...

Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Magnesium feels cheaper than aluminum? lol in what way is magnesium cheaper than aluminum? Magnesium is a better material, higher quality, and more expensive than aluminum. How does that make sense? lol
Most magnesium alloy laptops are combined with cheaper feeling parts like plastic to reduce costs. It’s not like these laptops are getting aerospace grade metals. An example is the surface book vs. The surface laptop. And the 2023 g14 vs this 2024 g14.
