I have a one with a Phillips head screw on the side of the stopper. Can't find a video or instructions anywhere. It's on a dual vanity

I have the same but its very hard and I cannot even move it, any advice would be highly appreciate it..
Initially I loosened it by very gently using pliers on knurled top (turn counter clockwise). I think I used channel locks.
