Love your Combat Mission AAR's. Great style, and very informative -- perfect balance of info and entertainment. Hope you'll end up doing many more. Thanks.
Huh... a new combat mission red thunder PBEM AAR, awesome. I love you CM videos, they are very easy to understand and you know how to give a good overview to your audience, so keep it up, thank you. :)
That was great. your format is very good. Maybe throw in an occasional overview of the map just to clarify the battle progress a bit. Otherwise, couldn't be better. Thanks.
Fantastic AAR video! Would love to see more like this, perhaps with some pulled back views to better show your plans of movement and where things evolve? A nice mix of your past CM vids with this new bloody good story-like editing would be perfect in my opinion. Plus a little less editing/scene setting for you
A very good narrative video! I understan you use the same mods as I do for vehicle, terrain and UI. But, do you use any daylight modifications? The filming and the editing are very good :)
+By George Well...My computer is struggling with lag when I have shadows on...must be the difference. I need a new computer...your game seems to run smoothly and with shadows it is very athmospheric. Very new to the game tho...played it for some months only...and only against AI. Fantastic game!
Very nice editing and narration. Could you provide some info on what mods you're using (especially when it comes to terrain)? Thanks and keep up the good work!
I like this game and video. Also your comments are fitting nicely. But the ingame sound is way too loud compared to your voice. Could adjust that in future videos?
@ 14:02 that was one helluva a toss. Found this map, and I have to say it is fun as hell. even playing against the AI with 25% or more..... Defensive or meeting engagement.
+tomme25 Thank you for the kind words. To move the camera I use the mouse. Left click and drag for forward/back, side to side. Right click and drag to rotate. That way you can control the speed of camera movement easier. I only use the keyboard to move the camera long distances.
+JuergenGDB I'm sorry, I don't remember the map. It was one of the huge ones. The map was 2km across and that shot was almost from one corner diagonally across to the opposite corner...so yeah, probably about 2km.
By George That's awesome George. I will have to check out some of those maps this weekend. I created the Scenario "Clash of Titans" awhile back and am working on 3 more right now.. they take a lot of time, even non historical ones.. and now that I know what I am doing with the AI.. its more fun. That's definitely a extremely long shot, I have knocked out IS-2 and ISU-152 from 2000-2200m but taking those shots can almost exhaust your ammunition... I found the range of the King Tiger at its best as far as accuracy within 3 shots and lethal potential at about 1500-1800m with even the heaviest of Soviet Armor.... but making kill shots at 2000+ meters is amazing. I lost a King Tiger to a ISU-152 from 2400m flank hull shot... so it goes both ways. I totally dig your videos... keep them coming. Cheers!
+unspoken00 It really depends on your area of interest. I have both and like them equally well. Get the demos if you don't have them already and check both out.
+JuergenGDB I'm the same, I have to invent little scenarios in my head to explain certain 'CM events'... like AP shells exploding in tree foliage - maybe they just hit a big branch and deflected off I tell myself ;) Great AAR BTW!
I've noticed in other AARs as well that the soviet armor has a thing for not returning fire (or even noticing that its been firingupon)... ahh, CMBB rings a bell
Absolutely. They still have a niche mentality, and Scumbag Steve being their "historian" means more of the embarassing mistakes a la CMBB (armor thickness and penetration tables wrong, ridiculous values for cast/curved armor, etc)
CM gameplays tend to be boring, because they require a ton of editing. Nobody wants to see 20 minutes of drawing orders for every minute of actual fighting. Besides, it may be difficult to capture the pace and development of the battle and at the same time to show cool details, brutal deaths, epic moments, decisive duels... And of course, the terrible graphics and even worse performance don't help. You manage to accomplish all of the above in a brilliant, awesome fashion, making your CM AAR's my absolute favorites. Too bad you haven't made one in a long time.
The amount of editing you did to make the video both fluid and simple for the viewers sake is amazing.
Congrats to your sir
+livenreloaded Yeah, it is always awesome to see a story telling style AAR.
really a great battle, very good comments also. Hope to see more. I love CM game, it is very realistic. One of the best.
George,
You make very enjoyable AARs. Thanks for making the effort to do this. Looking forward to seeing more ...
Great video, excellent commentary and editing. Loved the 'Captured Russian Footage' feature.
I apologize for one brief black period in the video. I don't know why it's there. It wasn't there when I reviewed the video before uploading.
Love your Combat Mission AAR's. Great style, and very informative -- perfect balance of info and entertainment. Hope you'll end up doing many more. Thanks.
I love this. Actually getting to see all the action in a good way is amazing.

You give a very clear picture of the progression of the overall battle, which I really like. This is one of the best lets plays I've ever seen.
That was brutal...the violence that is. That was a great presentation, great AAR!
Good AAR like this style
Great video George. Very nicely put together - especially so given the size of the scenario.
Just brilliant. Best footage of CM I've seen.
Amazing and great vídeo-AAR, George! Pure cinema! It looks like a real documentary of war. Congrats and thank you for sharing!!!! :-D
I very much enjoy your CM videos, they really are a treat. I am sure they're a bear to put together, but I selfishly hope to see more soon.
Nice video, awesome job on the camera angles etc... Comentary was top notch!
Probably one of the best AAR ever! Really look forward to seeing more
Best CM footage on the net, please do more exactly like this.
Amazing AAR with an excellent editing work. Congratulations.
This is a great way to do an AAR. Kudos.
Good video. Thanks for putting the work into editing this!
Great video...reminds me of the old days playing CMBO and CMBB on The Blitz ladders. :-)
An entertaining battle to watch! Thanks for your efforts! I hate to see a Tiger taken down by a grenade.
I freaking love their games. Nice AAR. excellent video.
amazing footage and nice victory!
I loved the video, very cinematic!
Beautifully done sir! Kudos on the Editing. Ill share your channel with some of my grognard friends =)
Great Video!!!
That was great. your format is very good. Maybe throw in an occasional overview of the map just to clarify the battle progress a bit. Otherwise, couldn't be better. Thanks.
I also subscribed, tks again.

I love how you made this video
A very good narrative video! I understan you use the same mods as I do for vehicle, terrain and UI. But, do you use any daylight modifications? The filming and the editing are very good :)
+fjell75 Thank you. No, I don't use any daylight modifications. Does the lighting look different to you?
+By George Well...My computer is struggling with lag when I have shadows on...must be the difference. I need a new computer...your game seems to run smoothly and with shadows it is very athmospheric. Very new to the game tho...played it for some months only...and only against AI. Fantastic game!
The map is by GeorgeMC and the mission he made on it is called "Studienka" and its a masterpiece.
Great AAR!
YES!!! You're back!!!
Very nice editing and narration. Could you provide some info on what mods you're using (especially when it comes to terrain)? Thanks and keep up the good work!
+canuck97 Thank you. I use a lot of Aris' vehicle mods; also his terrain mods. And I use Juju's UI mod.
Fantastic!
I like this game and video. Also your comments are fitting nicely. But the ingame sound is way too loud compared to your voice. Could adjust that in future videos?

Loved it!!
Great video. Which map is it?
i like your vid...
This game is awsome, are you planning on playing Combat missions: Black sea? Its also realy good but set in 2017.
+Ramon Revichev Yes, I have Black Sea as well. I like it a lot. With modern armor and other things, it plays a lot differently than the WWII titles.
Love your AARs. Have a question. How do you move your camera so smoothly? When I move it around to get good pictures it is so jerky.
+tomme25 Thank you for the kind words. To move the camera I use the mouse. Left click and drag for forward/back, side to side. Right click and drag to rotate. That way you can control the speed of camera movement easier. I only use the keyboard to move the camera long distances.
+By George All right, got to try using the mouse more then. Been using the camera as an FPS. Looking forward to the next AAR :)
How can i buy the game... i cant acces the site and im not the only one.
Say George at 6:40 what range was that about. 2000+ meters? What map was this if you know. thanks.
+JuergenGDB I'm sorry, I don't remember the map. It was one of the huge ones. The map was 2km across and that shot was almost from one corner diagonally across to the opposite corner...so yeah, probably about 2km.

Cheers!
Reminds me of the 90s game "Muzzle Velocity" Also, why do all the soldiers walk as though they've defecated their trousers? Great video, thanks.
27:29
tried to use the machine gun for suppression fire, but the enemy was already waiting... RIP
Would you recommend this or BFN?
+unspoken00 It really depends on your area of interest. I have both and like them equally well. Get the demos if you don't have them already and check both out.
Are using any mods in this battle?
Yes, I'm using quite a few of Aris' mods.
Thanks I have started playing again. Your videos really help on re learning game. I've installed several of Aris mods myself.
I still get miffed when hand grenades immobilize heavy tanks.. but hey.... maybe it was a few sticks of dynamite or a improvised sticky-bomb.... :)
+JuergenGDB I'm the same, I have to invent little scenarios in my head to explain certain 'CM events'... like AP shells exploding in tree foliage - maybe they just hit a big branch and deflected off I tell myself ;) Great AAR BTW!

Igor Welkenbach I think Battlefront would do well to expand their team and finally bring this piece of software to the 21st century, honestly.
Absolutely. They still have a niche mentality, and Scumbag Steve being their "historian" means more of the embarassing mistakes a la CMBB (armor thickness and penetration tables wrong, ridiculous values for cast/curved armor, etc)

Do u have any mods installed?
+Ghastly Gamez Yes, I do. I mostly use Aris' vehicle mods. You can find a lot of mods here: cmmodsiii.greenasjade.net/
They are King Tigers not Tigers.
